SAMSFX Fishing Strongest Magnetic Net Release Magnet Clip Holder Retractor with Coiled Lanyard

I changed my entire set of keys around this magnet. I got titanium d-rings and brass split rings and added a little pill box and the mini knife. I'm sure they're great for fishing but I wanted something to release my house and mailbox keys quickly and this is better than I thought they would be. They are not that bulky so you're not going to notice the much on your keychain but they are extremely powerful and I feel the best quality on Amazon of all of the magnetic connectors. Neodymium magnets are very brittle and by putting a stainless steel screw in the center to keep the magnet from eventually breaking off was a great move for this manufacturer. There are others out there that are good but eventually they will fail while this one will keep going strong. I liked it so much that I bought 20 of them for gifts and haven't had one complaint. I highly recommend these for a variety of applications. However, a few new colors would be nice on the ones that have the grip built into it. Solid blue, solid red and purple would be nice.Update.... Ended up buying more for gifts and was given special treatment. Thank you.

Which ever tool wrote this magnet isn't very strong is a straight up liar! It takes some effort to bust the magnetism loose. Get the two sides within a few inches of each other and it connects itself. It says 8 lbs of force holding power and I concur without a doubt. I'm using it as a Keychain separator so in the winter I can warm up my car and still lock the doors. So I can't vouch for it as a fly fishing tool. But I can't imagine it would be any different in either case. Don't buy the false claims of weakness in the reviews as they are incorrect or unrealistic expectations of a product! Great product no doubt I'd buy again without a doubt!

This is so much better than letting your net dangle. The magnets are much stronger than what is needed for a net or other tools. The magnets are held in with a screw through the middle of each. Don't trust the ones that are glued.

I thought people were exaggerating when they said this magnet is crazy strong. It really is, I have to give a decent tug to get my net off my crossbody backpack when fly fishing. If you're worried about your net falling off, i can tell you this thing is too strong for that to happen unless it really got caught on something strong. Out of all the cheap junk i get on here, this was by far the most worth the money.

For those that dislike the net bouncing off the ground or pulling your shirt back slowly choking you out this is the answer. Hooks on to a belt loop or waist pack and doesn’t hit the ground. Enough retention it stays where you want it until needed. Can quickly detach and hook to a kayak if your floating. Highly recommend

Have this hooked to my back for fishing net and I must say, Love it. Super strong magnets connect together just getting somewhat close to each other holding net no problem. It could probably hold five of them with the strength they have. Thumbs up

Works perfectly. I use mine with a Fishpond brand net, which is held securely even when the stream current is strong and the net is trailing in the current. Easy to release the net with a gentle pull. Much better value than the “big brand” versions.

Although I was skeptical this makes hanging my net from my vest D-ring very easy. Just hold my net either over my head handle facing down or behind my back handle facing up the magnets find each other and connect. Disconnect is also easy with a quick pull to release the net when I have a fish on.

I ordered this as part of my new fly fishing kit as I wanted a magnetic quick release for the net. For the price I didnt expect it to be of such good quality - good strong magnet; long coiled tether with decent clips plus a carabiner. The icing on the cake was two short zip ties were included in case you want to attach the keeper to the net head rather than the handle. Minor thing but indicative of thought. Very impressed.

Not the strongest magnet and so my net gets knocked off easily. Looking for a stronger one now
