This 2.5% benzoyl peroxide treatment works very well for mild to moderate breakouts. I like that it’s a lower concentration, which makes it less irritating while still being effective. It helps reduce redness and shrink pimples within a few days of consistent use. The texture is smooth and spreads easily without feeling too heavy. It absorbs fairly quickly and layers well under moisturizer. I didn’t experience excessive dryness compared to stronger formulas. Overall, it’s a reliable and affordable acne treatment option. Just remember to start slowly, use sunscreen during the day, and moisturize to prevent dryness. Great choice if you want effective results without harsh irritation.

It works!!! I used this product in November 2024 - may 2025 no kidding after that 6th week it started to clear my hormonal acne right up. I suggest a vitamin C serum too but this product will clear your acne and keep it gone! When I stopped using it I had minimal acne so I used maybe 3 times a week to get my skin not use to it anymore. But give it 6 weeks! I promise this product will work! You need moisturizer! Great value for your money.

Benzoyl peroxide water based gel was my saving grace during my teens and twenties, and it basically cured my rather severe acne. A decade and a half later, I suddenly became highly allergic to it (possibly from overuse, stress, aging, etc or combo of these things). It would leave a red welt for days anywhere it touched my face. At this point in my life, 35ish years old acne wasn’t too bad and I found alternative treatments for the occasional pimple. However in the past few years, now in my 40s, I’ve been getting breakouts every several months, and some of these breakouts were getting more and more severe. Derm had got me into high concentration salicylic acid as a spot treatment and it seemed to keep my acne at bay for a while. But very recently, this 30% salicylic spot treatment method seemed to just irritate my skin without getting rid of the zit. I decided after an 8 year long break that i was desperate enough to give benzoyl peroxide another try and purchased this one, hoping for the best. Success! No allergic reaction! I followed another reviewer’s recommendation and washed it off after 10 minutes of using it as a spot treatment. This method and the many years my skin took a break from it, may be why I can now tolerate BP again. And I’m so very glad I can. It’s way more effective than salicylic on my skin, and shrunk existing zits that I’ve been fighting with for weeks within days. I’m gradually increasing the time I leave it on over a bigger area of my face (as preventative), and may try to leave it on overnight for the larger stubborn zits. I’m just hoping I don’t become allergic to it again, since it’s really been the most effective option for me throughout my life!

I bought this product for my teen 15 yrs old and 17 yrs old. They don't really break out but they can get really infected areas. I bought this product, Differin, and exposed clear pore serum to help my kids with the trouble areas. The item itself works very well and clears skin fast. The only problem is my kids misread the instructions,it says to put thin layer on affected area ( they took that as all over thier face), which resulted in patchy dry skin. So please read the instructions carefully! Another thing to note is if you wax your eyebrows (like my 17 yr old) do not use theses products,it will burn you!When used correctly, this product has been working well.It will also work well with the other two listed products.

This treatment gel works well and is easy to apply. The texture is light, absorbs quickly, and does not feel greasy on the skin. With regular use, it helps improve the condition and keeps the skin feeling clean and fresh. I’m satisfied with the results.

In my opinion, this is by far the BEST spot treatment I have ever used, and I promise you, that's saying something! I use this product on pimples (face and body) after my nightly skin routine and anytime I feel like I need it, and those spots look so much better by morning. As long as I have pimples (please God, I'm almost 40 😫), I will have this treatment near me at all times!

Overall rating is a 5 star. Dermatologist wrote me a script for this med when I was in high school except she gave me the 10% benzoyl peroxide. I only used it during breakouts but it did make my skin flake if I used too much. This 2.5% gel solution is perfect. No flakey skin and I can use it twice a day and it keeps my boils under control. I rated it a five star and rated other areas Amazon asked for —Sensitive skin: 5, moisturizing:1, Scent: 1. I rated sensitive skin a five because it’s not as harsh as higher concentrations (like the 10%) and my skin didn’t flake, but dried out the oil (yay!). I rated moisturizing and scent a 1 because it dries your skin out (that’s the goal of the problem areas right??), and because it smells slightly like glue (but it’s marketing isn’t geared towards good scents??). Like I said five star overall.
