Airfix A03091 Mig 17F

Airfix are going from strength to strength at the moment and the MiG 17 kit is an excellent addition to their catalogue.I haven't built the kit yet but looking at the runners this appears to be a cracking kit. I'm not too sure about the back to the ejector seat as it looks a bit anorexic to my eye. A replacement resin seat would not go amiss.I have bought a set of aftermarket decals - Xtradecal 72313 - and I suspect I will be buying a few more copies of this kit!As I said I haven't built the kit yet but based on what I have seen from the modelling press and the runners I don't think I'm going to be disappointed. Would I recommend this? Yes and I think a novice with a few kits under their belt would enjoy this. Oh... and don't forget to put some weight in the nose!Just a little addition to the review. Bought 2 more. I can certainly recommend this kit!
