We don't have a lot of room in our freezer since we keep a lot of frozen meals and frozen fruit, so buying big bags of ice is a no go. But I *need* ice for water, soft drinks, lattes, etc , so a pack of these seemed like the best bet. They've been perfect so far! After freezing, I pop them into my insulated cups that I keep soda or water in, and they'll stay cold for a good 2 days! Not sure how they fare with just making a room temp drink cold, or keeping cold outside of an insulated cup. I imagine in that case they'll work about the same as regular ice, minus the nasty watered down flavour you get when your ice melts. They're definitely not magic, but if you wanna take your time with a drink w/o it getting watered down, or double the time your insulated drink stays cold, they're a lifesaver!

Have only used several times. So far I find using the sticks in an open glass they do not stay frozen long. They work best in my insulated travel tumbler. They stayed ice cold all day and even overnight. Started with already chilled iced tea, added 4 frozen sticks to the very large insulated, covered tumbler and the remaining couple ounces of tea were still ice cold the net morning. Will definitely be using them year round. Bought two 8 packs for myself. May get more for visiting family members.

They work ok. They will not chill as cold as ice does but they will chill your drink. Word of caution, do not let your kids use them. One of mine chewed on one and broke it open. 30 min later she was complaining of an upset stomach and then began throwing up. Doctor says they probably contained water with some chemical to keep the water from going bad. Keeping an eye on her and so far does not seem to be getting any worse.

I originally wanted Ice packs that could fit in my 60oz water bottle, and these delivered! About 6" long, these plastic rods are filled with water and super easy to clean. They come in 4 colors, with 2 of each kind: pink, orange, green, and blue.I usually put 2 in at a time in my water bottle and it keeps it cold for hours. Even longer if the water bottle is put in the fridge. Using them every day, they've held up well.

A nice size of ice replacement in a plastic tube. They work remarkably fast on a moderate amount of very very hot coffee. I'm so pleased to have found them. They're just right for my needs. I have also use them in pllastic drink cups to avoid the extra weight of an insulated thermos. Perfect in covered plastic cup with, of course, no melting, when I'm walking in the summer. Keeps my water cold for 3 hours clipped to my belt when I'm out walking without the added weight of a thermos requires. Throw them in soapy water to clean, rinse and refreeze.

I use these in my water bottles and my metal cup, I love re-freezable ice cubes and sticks they make my drinks really cold without watering them down. I Recommend this product
