Work good, but little flimsy! Light weight does the job.

Durability so as not to break off.
1) I had some small blue ones with a metal clip stuck in the back into the plastic. Every time I caught the badge holder on something it would just break off. These have a steel body and hook so they are very stout. 2) The blue ones just clipped on and held by the pressure of the clip squeezing. These have a locking clip ring so these cannot just fall off your belt buckle or lanyard. So far these have held up much better!
