I have searched a long time for a really good portable, rechargeable lighted magnifier. This was my fifth purchase.I’ve rejected all lamps that have flexible goosenecks which perpetually sag well before the light expires; and have sent all others away to good homes. This is SIMPLY THE BEST of the lot. I wouldn’t change a thing. Fully charge it the day before you need it, and it will last at least six hours. (I haven’t yet needed it longer than six hours, so I don’t know how much longer it will last!)

Do not purchase you are throwing your money away. So disappointed. this is my second lamp. the first lamp just stopped working. So I thought it was a fluke. So I purchased my second one. The same thing happened again. Got ready to go to a stitch retreat, and it would charge. This lamp was not used much, just like the first lamp, I stored it away and used only maybe 3x a year. But when I went to charge it, they do not charge. If you cant charge it is unusable. I wont buy a third. These lamps cost alot of money and are not worth the hassle and disappointmnet. My advice "Don't but this product!"

This is a great portable light to use when you need light and magnification to work.

Even though I purchased this a year and a half ago, I have not used my light that much. I use it for needlework when regular lighting isn't strong enough. I would say honestly, maybe 4-5 months of continuous use. It will not hold a charge for very long anymore. I am very careful with it so things like the port or cables are not an issue. It was not an inexpensive item. The light is bright and I like it but will need to replace it with something else.

I've had one for well over a year and just ordered a second one. Others have said the base breaks, but I haven't had any issue with mine. That said, it should be treated gently when you transport it. I carry mine in an old laptop bag in the cushioned part, and I'm gentle when I set it up and take it down. The light is fantastic and the magnification is good. I use it for beading projects, and it's really helpful for dealing with threading beading needles and getting in the size 15/0 beads when it's tight. Our beading group has several! We take them to classes and meetings. Light lasts about 2 hours, but a backup battery pack with a usb port lets you have many hours of use (as well as just plugging it in, if a socket is within reach).

This lamp with magnifier has made stitching embroidery much easier. It is light weight so easy to transport in where ever I go. That it does not need to be plugged in to use is perfect. It does not take long to recharge when needed. This is the perfect gift for an avid stitcher.
