Jessica Simpson Women's Baleenda dress Pump

I had high hopes for this shoe. I got it in a size 8.5. However there are two things about it that I don't like:1. My heel keeps popping out! I have the Jessica Simpson Kelii dress pumps in 8.5 ( Jessica Simpson Women's Kelii Dress Pump, Black 01, 8.5 M US ) and those fit perfectly. But the Baleenda pumps don't seem to hug my heels the same way, even if the shoe fits well otherwise. I don't think I would be able to size down to an 8 and still feel comfortable.2. The shoe looks gorgeous and well-proportioned from the side, but from the front they look a bit funny because of the rounded toe. From the pictures, it looked like these shoes had a slight almond toe, but in reality they really are just pretty round. I like the way I look in round toe ballet flats, but since the heels on these are so high, they create a long lean line for the leg when viewed from the front. To have that long lean line end abruptly in a round toe looks very awkward. They make my legs look like poles instead of, well, legs. It would have been much better if these shoes had a slight almond toe like the Charles David Flip pump ( Charles By Charles David Women's Flip Pump, Black Suede, 8.5 M US ). To be honest, the Charles David Flip pump does not look as cute as the Baleenda from the side, but its almond toe is far superior to the Baleenda's round toe.

I was happy I read the reviews and ordered a half size up. Even with that they were still super tight in the toe, but I feel if I ordered and larger my feet would slip out of the shoe completely, they already do,but that can easily be fixed with a heel insert.After several days of trying to break them in by just walking around my house, and that not helping I took one of the other reviewers advice and put on a pair of socks and used my hair dryer to warm the shoes up. It took several attemps of heating the inside and outside, manually streching the problem areas as well as walking around. It seems to have fixed the issue.Beforehand they pinched in the weirdest areas, I have never had a shoe be so tight in just one spot on a shoe, but not the same way on the other. And completely different on where is pinched on the other. They really are beautiful, and with some work they seem to be fairly comfortable now.

As with most inexpensive high heels that make legs looks great, the arch support was standard and unimpressive and the material was unforgiving on the top of my foot where the toes go in. After 3 days of walking in these for 3 hours the material didnt stretch which would be great if my foot was a bit slimmer. Overall it's a sexy shoe and not a bad fit at all for the price. The shoes were neatly packaged in unopened appropriate brand box with tissue paper. There were no stitch lines in weird locations as would be common with knock offs. I would consider this style in another color.

I freaking LOVE these shoes. They're crazy high, for me (I'm used to wearing flats), BUT, out of the multiple pairs of platform heels I got on Amazon to wear for a special occasion these were the MOST COMFORTABLE and the easiest to walk in, and they were the highest of the multiple pairs I tried. I got tons of compliments at the party I went to and even though I bought these with the soul purpose of only wearing them once in mind, I kept making up excuses to wear them again. :) I feel like a hooker wearing such high heels while I'm out and about doing regular things, and I got glares from other women when I wore them so I probably won't wear them too often, but seriously, wearing these to clean the house could lead to activities that'd be way more fun than anything I'd do in public anyway. Pretty shoe! Runs SMALL, my feet were hating me at the end of the day. I am a size 6 but ordered a half size up because I have a similiar style/pair in a 6 that was way too tight. Unfortunately going up a half size didn't help with how tight/small the toe area was. Way too narrow! I would not describe my foot as wide but these shoes made me feel like they are. Not sure if a few more wears would stretch them and not sure given the pain I was in if I would be willing to try.

I like the height and width of the shoe. It is classy to wear for weddings, church and other occasions. You fee confident when walking in them. I bought one years ago and I had to buy another. I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone who is looking for comfort and style.

The fit and comfort are good.

I love JS shoes...I purchased these thinking I'd replace the pair I had and beaten up after so much wear...only to find these shoes are not identical with look and fit. The toe on these shoes are very rounded/curved and narrow. The soles are nice, non-slip, but fear after wearing for even an hour my feet would hurt. Sad to say I will return these and try again...good quality...nice platform...just too tight and narrow. Plus, I like a heel with a little more "pointed" look at the toe, versus the Dorothy's been to Oz, click your heels three times round look.

I had to send product back because they were too small. Asked refund in January but I did not have yet. It is March! I payed £23 for the posting.

The shoes are pretty nice, but the fingers get really tight inside. I order half size bigger.

I love the look of these , they are nice , but so uncomfortable to wear. Needless to say I don’t wear them often, which is a shame because they are beautiful.
