It works

I gave this product a positive review when it was being sold for a tenner which it still should be. It's nothing more than a simple rubber mat. It was a brilliant product at the price. Then they went and jacked it up to it's current ridiculous price of 44 quid which in no plane of existence is it worth that. I really hope the sellers see this feedback and bring it back to 10-15 quid and they will sell a lot more of them. Shocking greediness.

Very good for light d.i.y. usage rather than heavier requirements.

Believe me I have tried hard to find justification for the big marker price of £35 for this product. I have found none. At best should cost no more than £5 - £10. I believe its usefulness is no more than piece of rubber which also serves to protect the floor. As for the safety, yes stop the ladder from slipping at the bottom but only when the floor is level (straight). I am mindful of returning the product mainly on the fact it is far too overpriced for the purpose its serve

Kept me very safe where I needed to use a ladder in a situation with less than ideal footing. Worked perfectly, and suitably priced.

Bought this thinking, “if it doesn’t work, at least it wasn’t expensive”. Super impressed that it actually works. We got it to ensure our work ladder was secure and we’re all please try suppressed by it.

It's so thick and nice! We have a big, old tall wooden Ladder and we were afraid it would slide across the wood floor when we mounted it (or worse, when we were half way up it and this keeps it so steady. Doesn't budge in the least. Heavy duty. Perfect size. Price was great.

The smell is real, like the other reviews mentioned. I keep it in the shed so I only smell it when I take it out to use it. I've left it in the shed for over 3 weeks and the smell is still very pungent. Besides the smell, the product meets my need for extra safety when using the ladder. It's a good trade off for me as it's safety vs smell. I haven't tried rinsing it with water or washing it to rid the smell. Seem like the smell comes from the lubricant to prvent the rubber from drying out when stored in-stock. From the smell, the lubricant is very likely oil based.
