I bought this as a sun-brella to keep the sun off of my face in Florida while I walk. I had Mohs surgery on my face so I need more than just sunscreen. The umbrella has some basic pros and a con. Pros: It works! It is lightweight and easy to carry in your purse and while holding it. The umbrella is pretty and the underside of the umbrella is black which I guess is what keeps the sun from shining through. I definitely feel noticeably cooler and more protected when I use it. And the one day I left it in my car and walked to work, I surely missed it!The only real con for me is that is really doesn’t do well in the wind. In my experience, anything more than the lightest of breeze and this things wants to turn inside out. I have not used it in the rain, so I can’t speak to that, however, I did not buy it for a rain umbrella.

Very strong and durable. The color was cool. Closes very easily , it is very small neat and it didn't blow and flip over.

I bought this for my wedding ceremony, since I would be standing in the sun. Worked fine, no complaints.

Used in Phoenix, AZ on 118 degree heatwave.This umbrella really worked to block the sun rays! Made a big difference. Material could be thicker though.

I loved this the handful of times. I used it over the last month in my very hot city. Unfortunately, it broke yesterday, just over a month after I purchased it and beyond the return. The umbrellas broke on most of the underside so I now have a reduced surface area misshapen sun umbrella.

If you hate being sunbaked get this for festivals, trips, hikes, took it to Hawaii and it took a bearing but it’s still going so I got my friend one and she loves it, it does make it cooler underneath!
