Excellent Monitor
I had a 22 inch monitor, decided to get a 24" monitor to be easier to read and this did not disappoint. It is plenty big so I don't have to lean in to read my screen anymore and the blue light feature is incredible. If I want to watch a sporting event I can turn it off and have excellent picture color and quality, but for work and not trying to fry what's left of my vision, the blue light feature is great and you can dim it with one click too, so my vision isn't so wrecked after a day of work. I got it on sale for 99 and felt like the value at that price was excellent. Also, it swivels and will go up and down, which was something I was looking for.

Good monitor.
The monitor works well, has good resolution and color. I use it every day and have had no problems. It's easy to set up, is a good size for my desk, and can be adjusted up or down based on preference.

Couldn't Get Much Better
My 20 year old computer speakers conked out, so I was able to reclaim that space on my desk, which allowed me to move my monitor further back by about 6 inches. The existing 20" monitor wouldn't cut the mustard any longer, so I purchased this Samsung 24" monitor to take its place. It has fit into its new space quite nicely and is just the right size. In my case, the 27 inch monitor would've been too big and unwieldy. As for performance, I am completely pleased with this monitor, as I was with the previous 20" Samsung . Samsung does know how to build a TV and a computer monitor, for sure. I found a couple of online test patterns that allowed me to set colors, contrast and hues to perfectly match my preferences for viewing. An unexpected plus was the inclusion of a built in 4 port USB hub, which allowed me to discard the old D-Link hub that I had on my desk that was used for connection of my web camera and keyboard.I'm using the HDMI video input, and the image quality is outstanding. The monitor also includes input connections for Dataport and VGA cables. I purchased my own high quality 10' HDMI cable, but a decent HDMI and Dataport cable are included with the monitor. Those cables appear to be about 6' in length. I did not unfurl them to check. A VGA cable is NOT included. THERE ARE NO SPEAKERS IN THIS MONITOR. Sound will need to come from external speakers. I'm using a spare $59 Anker Soundcore bluetooth speaker for sound. It's an absolute beast for such a small and inexpensive package. Some folks will likely dislike the fact that there are no control buttons on the front of the monitor. The power button is located on the BACK of the monitor, at the lower right hand corner. I originally thought that this would be much more inconvenient than it has been. Monitor adjustments are made by moving the power button up/down or left/right. Not a problem for me; YMMV.The monitor comes with a stand that appears to be rather substantial, but I did not use it. Since I was moving the monitor further back on my desk, I bought a separate VESA mounting stand that allows me to raise and position the monitor for an optimum viewing angle. It's worked out great. The VESA pattern on this monitor is 100x100.Considering the fact that I was able to score this monitor on sale at Amazon for $99, this has been a fantastic buy.

Crisp, clear text and images, vibrant colors, on a 2012 MacPro desktop Mac computer
Crisp, clear, gorgeous picture! Text is crisp, no shadows. Colors are vibrant, high quality nature photos are gorgeous on this monitor. And it worked perfectly right out of the box with no futzing around with fonts etc. Chose this for compatibility with my mid-2012 MacPro desktop silver tower computer. Works perfectly! I did need to buy a DVI-to-HDMI cable as none of the included cables covered that. I replaced an existing 10-year-old Samsung monitor of the same size and resolution needing a lighter weight wall monitor for my new desk set up. The old Samsung was still working perfectly, but we’re now in an RV rolling around the country on bumpy washboard roads and everything gets jarred. I didn’t know how long the old girl would last, and I didn’t want to try to replace her when we were a million miles from civilization. So I chose this moment for a new one while it was easy to do.Excellent picture quality. I am stunned that the picture on this really pops compared to my old 27” monitor with all parameters the same: 1920x1080 resolution, running 60Hz, 16:9 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast, 5ms response time, 16.7 million colors… As for usage, I spend hours a day at my computer so the monitor matters. I spend much of my time in word processing or reading PDFs, but I also produce print-quality graphics. My only complaints are that it doesn’t have much of a frame. I like having a solid monitor frame so that I’m not touching the screen to move the monitor, and in the RV I do have to move it. The other thing is that the controls button is in the back, and as far as I can tell, everything is done from that button if you want or need to go into the control panel for the monitor. I prefer those controls to be in the front, on the frame, as actual buttons. That said, minimal frame monitors with buttons on the back seem to be all the thing these days, so I must be in the minority for preferring the other way.Still in all, I am delighted with the Samsung Business S27R650FDN monitor. This is my third Samsung monitor through the years. Previously I had a 2010 P2770HD 27” monitor, and a 2008 2693HM monitor. The 2008 was mine, and the 2010 was my husband’s. My 2008 gave out a couple years ago and he gave up his 2770 to me. It’s still working but I upgraded to a new one anyway.

NO built-in speakers!
Does NOT have built in-speakers, whoever put that in the description is WRONG! I was planning to use the built in speakers. So now I have to purchase external speakers to listen to sounds generated by my computer. Otherwise, the monitor has USB, HDMI, and Display Port cables provided unlike some of the other monitors. The USB connection is a type A, Not as common. The monitor has a full range of adjustments for height, tilt, rotation and the stand seems moderately stable. I'm Not impressed with Amazon's return policy for restocking, otherwise I may have returned the monitor for one with built-in speakers. I ended up using a set of purchased speakers for sound. I prefer the IPS panel over LCD, so you need to decided which is best for your situation.
