Definitely grey. Our unit top is brown and units are safe green (very pale sage) those are the best tea towels I have ever owned. Large and wash well. Still look great 1 year on.

When tumble dried do they come out flat?

very good quality tea towels and they do not need ironing, so yes they do dry fat either on the line or tumble dryer
