These are so nice! My husband is able to watch what he likes while I do something else and enjoy the quiet! I've tried two other brands and they just were not as good. These are so comfortable that my husband forgets he has them on, and he has big ears! I decided to try them out and I can attest to their excellent comfort and sound. I also love that the volume can be adjusted to adapt for one ear hearing less than the other. My hearing is not equal in both ears.

I bought these SIMOLIO Headphones as a Christmas present for my 94 year old Mom who wears hearing aids. For over a year, she hasn't been able to hear the TV well, particularly dialogue.What an improvement to her life! She is now enjoying movies and news programs again with real clarity and crisp sound; instead of the TV blasting at full volume, (which she could barely hear anyway,) the TV volume can now be low for anyone else who is watching with her. Life is good (and quieter) again.OUT OF THE BOXThe headphones are beautifully packaged with an especially well-written instruction manual. The headphones come with every conceivable cable for hookup: digital optical, RCA red and white, USB for charging. All batteries are included (and charged.)HOOK-UPThis is one of my only (minor) complaints: with most TVs, the headphones should be connected to the CABLE BOX, not the TV itself. This enables others to hear the TV at the same time. It took me quite some time to figure this out. The manual writers may wish to make a point of highlighting this. At first I assumed that the headphones might be defective; but they weren't. (Her cable box WAS defective though.) I got a new cable box and everything worked fine; I am so happy that I didn't return this fine product.WIRELESS TRANSMITTERThis transmitter is beautifully designed and is POWERFUL. A side benefit of this is she can walk around the house, do dishes, whatever, and can still hear her favorite programs from many feet away from the television. The headphones also come with two charged batteries; one for use and the other charging in a neat compartment in the transmitter. It is so simple to swap them back and forth this way. There is also a USB port for direct charging (though no need to bother.) I like that she doesn't have to hang the phones up on a clumsy stand or cradle to charge them overnight. The batteries last at least 10-12 hours.COMFORTShe loves wearing these. Nicely padded and very comfortable. They are such high quality that it seems they'd be much more expensive.FEATURES AND SOUNDAs I mentioned, the sound quality is superb. The controls are one one side of the headphones, consisting of volume/bass/treble etc. There is a nifty button you can press when you want to hear others in the room who are speaking; it effectively mutes the TV for the wearer. Again, a minor complaint, but this button is so small it's hard to find. And once it is pressed, it remains that way until pressed again (like ON and OFF.) This could be confusing to some users who might think that the headphones aren't working right. I would suggest making this button much larger and easier to locate, and, make it operate like a walkie=talkie: press and hold it to hear others, then have it revert to TV sound when released. I ended up putting a piece of tape on this button to disable it entirely, because at first, many times, my Mom accidentally pressed it ON and thought the batteries were dead or the headphones weren't working properly.OTHER THOUGHTSIt's amazing that such a small thing can change another person's life. My Mom smiles and laughs again when watching TV and movies, where before she had given up on this part of her life. I recommend these wonderful headphones for anyone that is missing out on life due to hearing problems. SIMOLIO should be complimented and rewarded for designing such a fine product at an affordable price.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

It works great . the only thing is the battery should last longer before you need to charge it

Sound quality:I cannot under the words that is being spoken. Poor quality.

We bought these in 2020 (5 years ago when this review was written) for my hearing impaired elderly mother because for her to hear the TV in her bedroom she needed the volume on 11 and you could hear it all over the house. These connected to the optical output on her TCL Roku TV and they work very well. The extra battery was a nice addition since as far as we can tell there is no indication of the battery level until it stops working. Then it is an easy matter to just switch the battery out and put the depleted one on the charger. It also has an auto-off feature that turns them off after so many hours, saving the battery charge. You then just have to turn off and then on to power them up again. The range is good, she will come wandering out to the living room with them on (she looks like Roger Ramjet) and they remain connected, we know because we can hear them. It's nice for a change to see a product that works well and lasts for years.

I have owned four different brands of wireless TV headphones over the years and these are the best. I wanted a set of RF headphones not Bluetooth. I like the way the RF works you don’t have to constantly re pair this type of headphones and they have a great range. I can go anywhere in my large home and still hear the headphones. My hearing is not that great and I don’t want to have to turn up the volume to a high level when I’m watching TV I also tend to stay up latter than my wife so I can mute the TV and just use my headphones. They are very comfortable and seem well made. They were very easy to set up I used the digital optical cable. The battery life is outstanding 10 hours and they come with a spare battery which is a very nice feature. I had to replace my last set of headphones which were a different brand because the batteries died and you can only use a specific replacement AAA battery after buying a set of batteries that were expensive the battery life was still unacceptable I don’t think I’ll have that problem with these headphones.The sound quality is very good it definitely improves my ability to understand what the actors are saying although I still sometimes struggle a little but it’s markedly improved. There is absolutely no delay.I was a little concerned that the headphones don’t sit in the base unit to change but it isn’t a problem an included C type wire plugs into the base unit so I just plug in the headphones to charge them.These headphones were a life changer I no longer struggle to hear what the actors are saying and no longer have to turn the volume up to an unacceptable level and bother others in my household I can watch TV as late as I want without disturbing anyone. It’s a pleasure to watch TV again. I wrote this review because I did a lot of research and have owned 4 different brands of wireless TV headphones these are the best by far don’t hesitate to purchase them.
