Used properly over a knee wall or inside a cabinet with 2x4 bracing this bracket can hold 300lbs per bracket.

Q: How much weight does the 28" bracket support?

Not sure how much weight but we have a granite countertop that weighs around 200 lbs. We put the braces 16 inches apart on an overhang of 18 inches. Ask the company that is putting the countertops in, ours told us what was needed. It saved us hundreds by installing the brackets ourselves.
