AMAZING for sensitive, fair skin
I am so in love with this SPF! I’m happy the reformulation is vegan now. I have very fair skin and this protects it from the sun like no other. It also makes my skin look luminous and honestly perfected! I don’t feel like I need foundation anymore, just a little concealer on healing blemishes. People tell me they like my glass skin and ask what I’m using for it! Answer: this sunscreen! I would say this is not suitable for medium to dark skin tones as it definitely has a white cast. The white cast is not a problem for me as my skin is so fair but would definitely be ghost territory for anyone with skin darker than the first few lightest shades of a foundation range.

Effective, safe for the coral reefs, no white cast
Great product. This is reef safe & has an UV indicator. It blends in congruent completely with zero white cast. It doesn’t sting the eyes & appears to be great on sensitive skin because no one in our family has had an issue (even those with sensitive skin). One tube lasted our group of 5 people 1 week in Hawaii (we mostly only used it for the 4 afternoons we spent at the beach). Bought the 2 pack on sale & it was a good value. Still have a full tube left.

The best for long days in the sun!!
I would give this a 9.5/10. It is an almost perfect sunscreen. I normally burn SO easily, I have fair skin. I applied this one time during a kayaking day trip, not a cloud in the sky, and was out there for hours. I did not burn where I applied it. The photo is to show where I missed applying it.Right now my partner is lying in bed with nearly 3rd degree burns lookin like a lobster because he didn’t use this sunscreen on the same trip, and I have a beautiful soft tan, no burn right now on the rest of my body. This sunscreen wasn’t greasy at all. It’s all mineral and felt good to apply. No color transfer, no bleeding of color on plastic bags and clothes.I’ve given it -0.5 for 2 reasons, I wouldn’t use it everyday as it did put temporary sunscreen streaks on my polyester dry-wicking shorts the other day (none the kayak day though) and reason 2 is it leaves a white cast on the face only, so I wouldn’t use it on the face. HOWEVER, worth noting I normally have bad acne and this product did not make me break me out at all.

Works perfectly. Goes on smooth. No skin reaction!
I hate putting sunscreen on my face. Usually feels nasty or I end up with zits and ingrown hairs - nasty. Wanted to get protection and decided to try this. A little goes a long way. I used on face, ears, neck and arms with a bit on my knees. Went golfing 5 hours in full sun and had zero discomfort, complete protection - not even a hint of pink. I reapplied a teeny bit after 2-3 hours just in case.I’ve tried many and never come across a better sunscreen product. Appreciate it being reef friendly and all mineral based too.It stays on good in wet and sweat. Took a couple of washes to feel like inform it all off my face but my face was also super sweaty after a hot round.

I’m a fan!
Does not leave a white cast if you use the correct amount and rub it in. A little greasy but that makes it easy to apply. No sunburn after a week on the beach! I used it on my face on the beach but don’t recommend using it under makeup. Did not clog pores. Full body use, including face.

Superior Suncreen Brand
I am very picky about sunscreen. I’ve tried brands from all price points — Trader Joe’s, drugstore through high-end skin care brands (Clarins is my favorite, especially their face-specific products, but the products are pricey.) My dermatologist suggested I try Blue Lizard sunscreen. I love it and it’s now my go-to for myself and my family. The lotion is easy to apply and achieves even coverage. It is not oily, so I use it daily without concern that it will ruin my clothes. It's water and sweat-proof. It’s great for the beach, pool, gardening (doesn't attract bugs), and sports. I appreciate that after I shower, my skin feels very clean and I don't feel like there is still greasy residue. There is an easy spray version and fast to apply to children who are like professional wrestlers when you try to apply sunscreen on their bodies.

Works great - no stinging eyes!
I’ve really struggled with waterproof sunscreens that eventually - inevitably - get into my eyes and sting. Once it happens, there’s really no way to get relief until I can get home and wash it off, and the pain can ruin an otherwise great day at the lake or beach. But this Blue Lizard sunscreen is great! I chose it specifically to use on my face, as a no-sting sunscreen.Like any mineral sunscreen, it does leave a white cast - but since I only use it for swimming, hiking, and other sporty pursuits, I don’t mind. It’s a worthwhile tradeoff for a sunscreen that is truly no-sting!Not ever sweat or seawater makes it run into my eyes! It’s great.I also appreciate that it’s fragrance-free!

Gentle, Reliable Sun Protection My Skin Trusts
Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen has become my go-to for long days in the Florida sun. The mineral formula (zinc-based) gives broad-spectrum protection without the chemical filters that irritate my skin, and it goes on surprisingly smoothly for a mineral sunscreen. I love that it’s fragrance-free and made for sensitive skin—no stinging, no breakouts. It’s also water- and sweat-resistant, so it holds up on runs, beach days, and outdoor workouts. The signature color-change cap that reacts to UV light is such a smart reminder to reapply! If you need serious sun defense that’s gentle enough for daily wear, this one’s a winner.
