I love, love, love this travel mug. It's a beautiful shade of purple. It keeps my coffee hot in the morning and it is leakproof. Some say pricey, but it's worth every penny. I've used other travel mugs (I hate Yeti) and they just don't compare to this brand. Even if you just have one, it's enough! Love it!

I really enjoy having my morning cup of coffee but hate bringing it to work in a coffee mug. Every other coffee mug that I have purchased starts off great but then the mug starts reeking of old coffee no matter how much I clean it. The Contigo Autoseal West Loop mug has finally solved those problems for me.CleaningThis mug has been extremely easy to clean which has been amazing. The inside of the lid can be can be popped up which offers easy access to clean the lid by hand or in the dishwasher. Washing the lid by hand has been a breeze so far and has kept my mug perfectly clean for the month I have been using it so far.Spill ProofWhen Contigo states that this mug is spill proof they really mean it. I have dropped my mug a few times on accident and shaken it upside down with liquid in it on purpose without ever a drop leaking out of the mug. The lid fits on with a few short turns and doesn't require any second thought on whether or not I screwed the lid on tight enough. The Autoseal button must be pressed in order to drink from the mug. If your finger isn't holding down the button there won't be any chance of liquid spilling out of the mug. There is also a lock feature so you won't accidentally press the Autoseal button while the mug is in a backpack or a purse.InsulationI haven't tried testing the limits of the insulation of this mug as of yet but I have had no issues with my coffee going cold. I have left the mug for about 4 hours at the maximum so far and my coffee was still at a nice warm temperature.AppearanceThe appearance of this mug is fairly simple but sleek looking. I purchased this mug in the Monaco option and have loved the color. My only very minor issue with the mug is that the color can scratch off rather easily but this is an issue on most mugs so I wouldn't count it as any sort of con.Overall I have been very pleased with this mug and plan to keep it for a very long time. Contigo will definitely be my next choice on mugs.

This insulated mug is by far the best that I have used to this point.This is the second Contigo West Loop that I have had.The first one I used for about two years until it broke after some major abuse and a fall at work. As far as usability, I absolutely loved it.The vacuum insulation worked very well, and would keep all of my drinks hot or cold for hours.Probably the best part of the mug though is the leak-proof design. In the two years that I had the mug, I did not have any problems with the mug leaking. This meant that I could take the mug and toss is onto the passenger's seat in my car and go - no need to worry about babying a hot drink or worry about it spilling in my car.I am also a tea drinker so I purchased the optional tea infuser accessory (Contigo West Loop Travel Mug Tea Infuser Accessory, Greyed Jade), which was admittedly a bit expensive, but worth its weight in gold. Just put a tea bag in the infuser, pop the infuser onto the bottom of the mug lid and go. No need to wait for the tea to brew or for tea bag strings to be hanging out of the mug.There are two potential downsides to this mug. First is the durability of the finish. The first mug I has was the Latte color and I found that with regular use, the finish would scratch off easily, and the outside shell of the mug would dent easily if dropped even a small distance. I don't know if all of the colors will have this issue (I assume that the stainless color would not have a "painted-on" finish, for example) but the Latte color one definitely does, as well as my second one, which is black. This is purely cosmetic, however, and does not affect the functionality of the mug.The second potential downside to the mug is the difficulty in sipping hot drinks. The way the mouthpiece is designed, it is a little difficult to sip a very hot drink, as the way the mug handles is more of an "all or nothing" type of thing. This is definitely worse at first until you become used to how the mug works, but it is definitely something to be aware of.Overall though, this is a wonderful mug, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to carry liquids with them.
