Elena's womens Vervain Pendant Anti-Vampire Silver Plated Necklace

This is a really lovely locket. I bought one for myself and one for my mother since we're both fans of the show. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I purchased it because it was coming from China. And I didn't know if the photos were what it was going to look like since there are variations out there, but when I got it I was very pleased. I bought them both from Bigworld Jewelry. It took a while to get but was worth the wait. The locket looks almost exact as far as I can tell from screenshots of the show. The only thing that bugs me is the hinge seems a bit flimsy on my pendant. It's not really necessary to open it constantly but I'm afraid that piece will get loose and eventually break. Not a big deal as I could probably fix it myself. But that's really my only concern over the pendant. The chain is also nice, but it was a bit short for my personal taste. Going through some reviews today I've noticed some people say it loses it's silver tone, but so far that hasn't happened to mine. Bottom line, if you're looking for an inexpensive version of the pendant I would suggestion this one.

I just jumped onto the TVD bandwagon in January when I saw the season one DVD in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart. Just started season four and felt it was a good time to start looking for a cute fandom-inspired piece. I wasn't expecting to find a replica of Elena's pendant! Such a cute idea and very timeless and classy, so I can wear it beyond the TV marathons. Didn't come with vervain, but I plan on buying some in the next couple of days for it. Arrived a few days earlier than expected, which was cool, but in a simple plastic bag and bubble wrap envelope, which wasn't a big deal for me, but I know some people prefer a nice gift box. I only paid about $3 for this, and it was way better quality and faster shipping than I expected for the price. Would buy time and again! Love this necklace! Such a beautiful piece!

I don't normally write reviews on things I buy but I figured why not this time. My necklace arrived ahead of schedule which is always a plus! It came with some sort of herb inside (not sure its actually vervain since I have never seen or smelled vervain before). I kept seeing reviews that said the chain was really short, but the one mine came with was long, almost too long for my liking so luckily I have a shorter one I switched it out for. I love that the locket part is clasped tightly with a strong magnetic back but the hinge is kind of wobbly. Its looks exactly like the picture so that made me happy. Probably my only complaint is that the pendant can't fasten to the chain so when you walk it swings back and forth and makes a loud jingle bell sound so people know you're coming. So far I am loving this necklace and since I'm a huge fan of The Vampire Diaries it makes it very special.

I got well over 7 years ago and still love it. It doesn't tarnish. I put four stars just because it does feel cheap. I think it's a good replica. I don't wear it much any more.

I was so excited when I saw this necklace on here and for such a good price! It got delivered today and all I can say was I was disappointed. First off, the bag it came in, mind you IT WAS SEALED. The inside of the bag was dirty and the necklace was rubbing up against it removing the dirt from the bag. So I washed the necklace no big deal, I’m alright at that point. I go to take the necklace outta the bag and the first thing that happens, the chain it’s on BREAKS. The whole clasp fell off. Thankfully I had extra chains around so I could still wear the locket itself. Unfortunately the locket is cheaply made the magnets holding the two pieces together barely stay together so your constantly putting it back in one piece. All I can say, is go to other sellers for this. I am so disappointed cause this is my favorite show and all I am left with is a half broken piece of junk.

Hey! I loved this product! Came exactly as expected! It's for my sister and I to use. Actually, my sister loves elena and I love Katherine and I bought a Katherine one and she bought this one! (I'm 12 and she's 10) Anyway, it was PERFECT! Just like I expected! It came with actual vervain, which by the way smells really good! Anyway, to all you people saying it will tarnish, or it will make your neck green, all you have to do is apply a clear nail polish to the back and front silver parts and let it dry! Then it will be great! The only problem is that the chain was a bit short, but I switched it out for another one, and it looks great! Honestly think this is the best purchased I've ever made! I expected it to be cheaply made for the price, but nope! PERFECT!

Got this for my teenage daughter (14)she is obsessed with the show “vampire diaries”.She loves wearing it or just keep it in her jewelry box. She says it looks exactly like the one that is in the show.Good quality for the price as well.

Heads up this necklace comes with verbena for the vampire diaries effect but I would throw it away because it's honestly kinda sketchy to put that un packaged in the box and necklace so I threw it away. after a while the magnet on the back came loose too so not very durable bot very pretty.
