it's a cabin air filter. it fits as it should, and accomplishes the goal it sets out to accomplish. a good replacement

Great Product and value
It lasted twice as long as the OEM from the dealer and at a third of the price. This was my second time purchasing this product due to my experience. I initially bought it two years ago and it wasn’t until recently that the dealer recommended charging it. Mind you, they do a multi point inspection every time I get an oil change. I highly recommend it. Save money! It’s very simple to install. It took me less than five minutes for my vehicle.

Filter good, instructions bad
The filter itself fits and works fine. The instructions are totally wrong. I have a 2011 Mazada CX-9 Grand Touring SUV and to replace the cabin filter you need to go through the glove compartment which is very easy to do. Your instructions instruct you to open the hood and locate the cowl grille and that will not work.

Wrong size shown in diagram!!!!!
This does not fit a 2015 Ford edge that dimensions shown in the pictures are not the dimensions of this filter. Very unhappy.

Fit great in 2010 Ford Edge
Recently bought a 2010 Ford Edge with 160k miles on it. Noticed the AC could not keep the car cool and the air coming out of the vents was minimal even on full fan. Figured it might be the filter. This car had the original plastic mesh screen in it. It was coated in dirt/dust however that in the humidity must of moistened and the became hard. I likely could of washed it but this air filter seemed like a good upgrade for the price. It was a perfect fit and instantly improved my airflow back to normal. Kudos as well to the folks putting out the how to videos. I found one that matched my glovebox style and followed it. I was a bit slow this time not wanting to force anything but having done it once, I could likely swap the filter out now in the future in just a couple of minutes.

So glad I finally did this. Easy to take the glove box out and retrieve the old filter to replace with the new one. Plenty of YouTube videos help.
