Cute! Really???
When I opened the package, my reaction was, Really? This is it???It's small, one piece, rubber. But, kinda cute. I thought the rubber is cool idea. Simple, light weight, non-skid, non-marring. It won't scratch anything!I bought this to hold iPad Mini 2, exclusively in landscape orientation. Well, the iZel is very small. If you use the preset widths (narrow and very narrow), the iZel is unstable. But if you let the legs spread freely...non-standard configuration... then it's possible to get a stable configuration. Portrait mode, it is less stable to unstable, depending on viewing angle setting. But, it's usable within limits.Based upon the printed pictures on front / back of package, the market target was smart phones. It is very stable in landscape mode, in portrait mode, a little less so, depending upon how the viewing angle is set. Again, usable in both orientations with some limitations. It's not perfect but it works. I'd probably buy it again.

Ideal stand for iPod Touch
Until recently, I've used my iPod Touch in display mode using Little Feet - a suction cup that keeps the Touch upright and in a good viewing angle; the only problem was when it lost suction after a certain amount of time. There are all sorts of DIY cradles for displaying your Touch; several can be made from paper, credit cards, or other DIY methods available on video. The problem, however, is that smaller devices lack the weight to keep put; others are too bulky to carry around. In short, you need a stand that's relatively light, will stay in one spot, and has a surface that resists movement on a table. I believe that the iZei may be close to the perfect stand. Out of the package, it's a flat plastic plane with rubber bumpers. When assembled, it turns into a stand that will work equally with all sorts of mobile devices. It may at first look a little cheap, but it's clearly made to last, and I'm certain to use it religiously when I watch movies or videos. $24.95 is the suggested retail price, but you can find it significantly cheaper, if you look.

Expensive but perfect
...so if you skip buying all the $4.99 & $9.99 alternatives before you buy this, it's a net savings. All those crappy stands will cost just as much after you find them inadequate. This stand is pretty much nirvana not just for iPod/Phone but for any PMP (I'm an insane collector who buys these things grey market from China). It packs flat, doesn't slide on airplane trays, you don't need pillows & ice buckets to achieve a decent viewing angle. And it looks damn sharp, and it's infinitely adjustable. Give the guys/girls who invented it credit. They built a better mousetrap. Just bite the bullet and do it, I've had mine for like 3 months already and there's no sign of a Chinese knock-off for $3 that can touch it. And probably won't be, as simple as it is, the manufacturing is actually quite expensive. Steel molds for small runs don't come cheap. It's a good value. And no, even tho it has rubber hinges you'll be onto your 79th favorite gadget ever before they show the slightest sign of fatigue.

Nifty little stand
This is a sturdy little hands free stand which has a limited range of adjustment. It is really nice looking and does not look cheap. The stand does not show any signs of wobbling or rocking when a phone is set in the stand. The phone is supported securely and you are able to charge your phones from the stand. In landscape mode, I did not see any obscuring of the screen while watching a movie and the viewing angle is satisfactory.Onto the important part, after doing some "scientific" testing I can say that this hands free stand can easily hold a Nokia Lumia 900 in either landscape or portrait mode. I don't see any reason why it should not be able to comfortably support a Lumia 920.The iZel hands free stand can also hold a Nokia N900, even with the keyboard extended, in the landscape mode. This would also lead me to believe that the Lumia 800 series can also be accommodated.I had no issues with my Zune 120GB when placing it in the hands free stand. All in all, a really useful little hands free stand.

Well worth the "premium" iPod stand cost...
Although you may be wondering why you'd pay $xx.00 on this iPod stand when there are iPod and iPhone and multi-media (Blackberry, cell phones, Zune etc.) stands that are much, much cheaper.Pro.-Ultra-compact, in it's "unassembled" form, it is basically a thin piece of rubber, very flat, very low surface area.-Very easily adjustable viewing angle.-Works to hold device horizantal or vertical-Would likely work on other multi-media devices / cell phones, etc.Is not a small, easily lost "S" shaped stand (I've lost two now...)...it is very compact, but large enough that it is hard to misplaceCONS.1. Took me a bit of fiddling around trying to figure out how to use and adjust it. Once you get the hang of it though, set up is very fast, still...more complicated than comparable stands.2. Much pricier than other iPod/iPhone stands...but IMO (having tried several), I think it is worth extra cost.3. Minor quibble, but wouldn't it be great if this were offered in alternate designs/colors??? The design is fine, but it would be really awesome if available in other designs or colors.

Nicely built, portable, but no angle adjustments
This is a nicely built unit and it's light and can fold flat for easy storage in a backback or whatnot. It can be adjusted to a 'narrow' setting (good for phones) or a 'wide' setting which is better for larger phones or small tablets. The reason I can't give it a better score is that there is no way to adjust the lean angle of the phone. That wouldn't be so bad if the one-and-only angle it had wasn't as severe. But when placed on a flat surface, the angle of the phone is too far back for my use. I guess this makes it a bit more stable and maybe that's why they selected this angle. If they just had a small 'angle arm' that could be adjusted, even a little bit, that would have made a big difference. But if you are cool with a steep angle (35-40 degrees) than it's probably fine. I'll still use it as best I can.
