Super fast temperature readings!
Thru the pandemic, our household is testing our temperatures multiple times a day. Works great so far! Super fast readings.

Good device
Temperature difference between ear and forehead diffrent. It did take about a hour in our home (to accumulate) to give good steady accurate result . It appears better result from the ear.

Learning Curve but a Gift for Working during COVID
It is not the most accurate. No forehead thermometer is, but you can take steps to ensure there is an reliable measurement. Follow the directions! You want to be in the same room as the device for at least half an hour. If you can't, make sure you're not sitting in a very hot or cold area immediately before taking the measurement. If you get a reading that seems incorrect like very high or very low, take it again. I find that happens when I go too fast. I also keep an oral thermometer handy in case there may be a fever to double check. I have to take my temperature at least twice a day, and it is a real hassle to sit and wait for an oral thermometer when you've been doing it every day for 6 months. Some people may be unhappy that it can have a small range if you take your temperature multiple times in a row, but I find that range acceptable because it's never a huge difference. This is mostly to alert me if there is a potential problem that I need more accurate information for. I recommend this because I could not consistently take my oral temp and I have my oral thermometer on hand to verify if I have a fever.

Feels good in the hand is straightforward to use
Overall, the thermometer is a perfect size and easy to hold/control with one hand, and even with the batteries, it is pretty light. My pictures kind of make the front look purple, but it's clearly silver.I tested it on my wife, three kids, and myself and we all got different readings. I don't have a way to gauge the accuracy of the readings but they were the same, if not very close when I tested everybody again on a second round.Pros:• Super quick readings.• Having only two buttons makes it easy.• Comes with nice microfiber sleeve/pouch.• Clear user guide.• Batteries come with it.Cons:• Maybe I would have liked to see an ear tip adapter so this could be forehead or ear (you can still test the ear but the image in the user guide shows a tip, which I didn't see in the box).• I would prefer this were a chargeable thermometer, rather than batteries, but that's not a big deal. Conclusion:No real complaints and would recommend it.

Accurate and user friendly.
It's fairy accurate and consistent. The no-contact feature is really nice for getting a quick assessment of whether my kids are feeling well or not. It's just as accurate as the ear temperature reading as long as you do the scan motion across the forehead instead of a pinpoint scan. The no-contact feature is quicker and easy to do when you're kids don't like staying put. The indicator light is a great feature as well. If I see a red light then I already know the reading is outside normal temperature. My kids are always getting sick so this is good to have around. Good little tool all around.

More accurate than my Exergen!
Our Exergen thermometer has always given us erroneous readings. Usually we just tack on an extra degree and call it good, but I got tired of always having to do that and that is not really a reliable way to take temperature. So I took the plunge and got this thermometer. It is perfect for taking daily temperatures before school in the morning and it has been much more believable in terms of temperature range. For example, I just took my temperature with this thermometer and my Exergen - the Vigorun says 98.0 F, Exergen says 96.9 F.

Easy to use; seems good
Easy to use, except it’s not quite “no contact” if I’m following the instructions correctly. I can’t really tell how accurate it is because I don’t have another medical thermometer I can trust to be accurate; if I had that, I wouldn’t have needed this one. But to the extent my (cheap) oral digital thermometer is accurate, this one seems good, and I know right away that I’ve got a reading. (My oral thermometer has a beeper that’s so faint & high-pitched I can’t hear it.) My sister bought a different touchless thermometer (the “radar gun” style), and its readings seem to be all over the place. She can’t calibrate it because the instructions are too small to read (we’re both over 60). So, all things considered, I’m happy with my purchase.

Simple to use, works great
With all that is going on I. The world, I knew we needed some better thermometer options at my house. I have a couple of grandkids who are young enough to be difficult to get temperatures with oral thermometers, and going that other route is not something I want to do.With this thermometer I can quickly check them via their forehead or eat and the deed is done.No fiddling with stuff. No fidgeting throwing off the readings. No needing to wait.Just touch and go.This is super convenient. With a family reunion happening this weekend (believe me, I wanted to avoid it) being able to easily test folks as they come in is going to literally be a life saver
