Cute packable sun hat for women by Karen Keith is created from 88% toyo and 12% polyester. The flexible woven fabric allows for this hat to be folded/gently rolled to carry in your suitcase or bag and will provide superior UPF 50+ sun protection where ever you may be. The 3 inch wide brim shades your face, ears and neck from the sun and can be worn up or down. Crown is about 3 ½ inches from brim to top of hat and there is a 1 inch wide grosgrain ribbon hat band inside. The crown is highlighted with a 5/8 inch wide contrasting woven strip that is highlighted with eyelets and a leatherette cord that ends with a bow at the back. The outside edge of the brim is also trimmed with black. A great sun hat for travel, beach, pool side, gardening, festivals, vacations or anytime at all. It looks nice, but is a bit heavy
It looks nice, but is a bit heavy. I can see it being too hot in the summer. A straw hat would be better. It came a bit wrinkled, and after someone said not to get it wet, I was afraid to steam it. I now have it packed with some material to hopefully get the wrinkles out.

Like it very much
This is a nicely made hat that really fits the bill for me. It has just a wide enough brim to cover my neck and face yet not at all overwhelming. The fabric used is also very nice...not at all heavy nor scratch......very pleased.

Don't get it wet!
Fit well. Looked great until it got wet. Then it never looked the same.
