but I wasn't about to waste a magnet to find out
Tried to mount the small one inside an iPhone6+ with case and it wouldn't hold up. Had to use the larger magnet. Ordered an extra set of these- It will hold up an iPadAir2 , on the outside of the case. I dont imagine it will stay if placed on the inside, but I wasn't about to waste a magnet to find out. Overall, as advertised although I wish they could hold up more for smaller size.

Love this product
I love me mountek cd slot holder. I only use the larger badge as I like to keep it under my case. I purchased extra because we are going on a road trip and I may want to have my 8" tablet on the holder so I will put the large badge on it.
