Perfect in every way.
I used this product on the saltillo in my sunroom, and it looks better than it did 20 years ago when it was new. I used a brush first, but got tired after the first two coats, so tried a roller. There were some bubbles with the roller, but they disappeared and did not leave any marks. I did a total of four coats on this (approximately) 9’ x 20’ room, and still have more than half the gallon left. I like that it’s non-toxic and low VOC. The results are great, it’s easy to apply, a little goes a long way, and I couldn’t be happier with the product. I recommended it to a friend and she is thrilled with her results too. Oh, and as others have mentioned, it’s shiny but not slippery at all.

If you have saltillo tile you need this
I have about 900 s/f of tile on the back patio with half under cover and have exposed to the Florida sun. I tried other expensive water based sealers but none really enhanced the colors of the tile or provided a finish that was easy to clean. Ole was easy to apply and left a nice sheen. I applied two coats and will probably apply a third this fall. I would strongly recommend ole.

Great protection.
Used it on mexican papers that were very dull looking. This made them look better and offers protection. Makes the tiles shine a bit and looks like it's waterproof. It takes multiple coats for best results. In my case, about 4 coats was perfect. I wish it had a little color to darken the tiles a bit. It's a clear coating. We will see how long it lasts.

Olé Sealer - Easy application -- Great results
I have saltillo tile floors in my house. It is a beach house that sees lots of wear and I wanted to 'bring back' my floors after several years. I did research on several forums about how to restore saltillo tile and kept coming across positive posts about Olé Sealer, so I purchased. I easily spent 2-3X more time preparing the floor than it took me to seal the floor. I made sure to get the floors super clean. I used a knife to scrape up any spots or smudges. (I had small dots of paint artifacts from old paint jobs that needed to be cleaned before sealing them in forever). I also taped off the baseboards so that no sealer got on the walls. Once clean, the application of Olé sealer was quick. I used a sponge. The key is to NOT let it pool or puddle. It dries quickly, and you can walk on it in about 60-90 minutes. You're better off applying multiple thin coats, rather than trying to slop it on thick and hope for a great result. I posted two photos. The first photo shows the result after one coat. The second shows the result after two coats. That was enough for me. The finish becomes glossier with two coats, and I didn't want a super high sheen. It is water-based so it will dull down with mopping and wear again. I couldn't be happier with the result.

Amazing...!!! 10 STARS...!!!
We bought our home almost 8 years ago, Mexican (Saltillo) tile through out - love it, but very worn, tired & never taken care of as you can see... We were told it was a mission & costly to have them cleaned & resealed, etc... My daughter found this product and for the price - why not, what do we have to lose... A little elbow grease, hard brush & soap and water - Voilàààà...!!! The floors came out awesome...!!! I'm so proud of her doing such a great job...!!! We started out in the kitchen since we just had a full remodel done, and next will be the bedrooms - we're doing it in sections since we have to empty the rooms out one at a time... Highly recommend, 10 STARS...!!! Great, Easy & Satisfying weekend projects...!!!

WORKS GREAT-EASY TO USE
A gallon seems to be enough to cover the entire country of Mexico! I wish the sealer came in smaller sizes. That said, I have used it on two installations of 4"x4" decorative Mexican tile. It is easy to use and cleans up quickly with just water. My first use was 10+ years ago and not a single tile fell off the wall. I again used it to seal decorative Mexican tile that is exposed to all types of weather and, using the proper adhesive (not included) will last "forever".

Great product, great value
I hadn't sealed my Saltillo tile floors for a few years because the sealant I was told I HAD to use was very expensive. When I saw the description, reviews and price of Ole' Mexican Tile Sealer I thought "what the heck, for that price it's worth trying". Glad I did. Easy to apply, dries fast and hard with a great shine (I applied thick enough to make sure that the coverage was complete, no thin, smeary spots) and I am thrilled, my floors look great! This is my product from now on!
