My friend recommended this to me, and this cleaner really does its work. It's easy to use and doesn't require any specific washing mode; normal mode is enough. And the cleaner really will remove the odor that's so annoying.

I use the Tide Washing Machine Cleaner because it is easy to use. Open the packet, set the machine on hot and a regular or bulk setting, and turn the machine on. After the cleaning, there is a fresh smell in the washer rather the musty smell in the washer beforehand. I look under the rubber gasket inside the machine whether its cleaning is effective. It is effective in releasing hair and lint from clothes. I use a clean cloth to remove these gross by-products from the gasket after the cleaning. I bought a cheaper brand once and returned it immediately after one use because the other brand did not meet Tide's quality in removing grime from the inside of the washer and that musty, funky smell.

Works Well, Keeps the Washer Fresh, but a Bit Pricey I’ve been using the Tide Washing Machine Cleaner with Oxi for a while now, and overall, I’m impressed with how well it keeps my washer smelling fresh and clean. I’m giving it 4 stars because it does the job effectively, but there are a couple of small drawbacks that keep it from being a perfect 5-star product. The cleaning power is definitely there. After running a cycle with one of these packets, my washing machine smells noticeably fresher and feels cleaner inside. Just toss one into the drum and run a hot cycle—no measuring, no mess. Each pack is sealed well, and the size is perfect for a thorough clean. It’s easy to stay on top of washer maintenance when it’s this simple. The only reason I knocked off one star is because of the price. For just five uses, it feels a little expensive, especially if you’re keeping up with monthly cleanings as recommended. It adds up quickly compared to some other generic cleaners or DIY solutions like vinegar and baking soda. That being said, Tide is a trusted brand, and the results do feel more effective than the cheaper alternatives I’ve tried. Overall, this is a solid product that delivers on what it promises. It keeps the washer clean, helps prevent odors from transferring onto clothes, and makes maintaining the machine much easier. If you don’t mind spending a little extra for convenience and reliable results, this is a great choice.

I have been using this cleaning powder for some time on my front-loading LG washing machine. The powder is very easy to use and has a lovely scent, leaving my washing machine looking great after it cleans on the sterilize setting. The powder itself is white and looks pretty effective at getting rid of even the nastiest of smells. I use the powder more often than recommended, though, since I do a lot of laundry with elderly dogs who often have accidents. With how easy it is to use and how affordable it is in bulk, it is a great option for my household when it comes to cost per ounce.

I've been using these for awhile. I think they work well. Also gives the machine a nice smell. Definitely a better value instead of locally for me. Haven't seen any foam.

I have a new upright washer and dryer. Love them so much except for the musky smell I get after about every 10 loads. I’ve tried a ton of stuff and it just doesn’t seem to help and after one load it’s back to the musky smell (yes I’ve cleaned the rubber parts and everything inside). I tried these thinking whatever they won’t work, and I am sooooo pleasantly pleased that I was wrong! They work great & it’s so easy. Just dump in, turn on was, and go to bed. Definitely worth the money.

I used this every few months in the compact washer that came with my place. It doesn’t have any overpowering smells and I do notice any mustiness that comes with having a front loader goes away after using this (plus some additional cleaning to get out trapped water). As long as you follow the easy instructions, it works well.

Good product

i use it every 3-4 months at least... cleans very well and removes the washer smell... just throw them the washer and run a cycle... They could have made them a little smaller because by the time the washer is done, the puck is still not completly diluted properly..
