Excellent filter separator
The media could not be loaded. This is a very well made product that does exactly what it’s designed to do. Installation is very easy and it’s well worth the expense. Please view my video

Metric thread size requires tapping in USA and filter too tight
I purchased this filter thinking that it would be a relatively inexpensive option over purchasing a more expensive filter. I purchased it because I didn't want to spend $100+ on the top and bottom (the Racor(R) goes for over twice the price). Unfortunately, I did not read the fine print and the threads on this model are not standard in North America. I ended up having to tap the threads to 1/4" NPT threads to get it to fit any 1/4" barb. 18x1.5mm threads to barb are not standard parts in the USA. So buyer beware if you need to go to a different barb size for your fuel line than the one included in this kit. I'm not sure why they choose to use metric threading. Also, the filters were pre-attached and not oiled so taking it apart to oil and fill with fuel took a the strength of Hercules. I damaged the outside of the filter in the process of removing it (dented and scratched). I don't believe it would be possible to remove it without damaging it.Overall, very frustrating. I wish I had just spent the $75+ for a more expensive mainstream model.

leaks
It leaks around the filter canister. couldn't stop it from dripping... When it came removed the canister to make sure i would be able to service it later. It was spun on so tight it was almost impossible to remove. It looked like they put no lubricant on the o ring.... I installed it an could never get it to stop dripping.. I'm sure it wouldn't have leaked at all as tight as it was if I hadn't removed it.. Then I would have found out later when I replace the filter... I read some reviews where people who later replaced the filter had probems leaking.. They blamed the new filter. I just discardedthis and chalkeditup to experience.. I replaced it with a name brand racor. I didn't remove the filter on the racor. will have to find out later how good it is. advice: also use the yellow coded pipe dope on all the threads.

Great filter and water separator, but you need to remove, tape, and re-install the plugs for the extra two ports.
This is a great little water separator and filter. YES, the picture is up-side-down in the ad here. (Apparently the seller has no idea that fuel floats on top of water). Important things to know.... This filter has four ports, two inputs and two outputs. It comes --with-- plugs for the extra two ports (that most people will not need to use) BUT the plugs are not put in with teflon tape and are not screwed in tight. If you install this filter and you do NOT remove those plugs, teflon-tape them, and re-install them it will most certainly leak from these plugs. (This is very easy to do by the way). If you don't do this, you will be convinced that the filter is leaking fro the filter element itself, and you will be disappointed.

Good but I had to replace bleeder bolt. Bleeder cent was bypassing filter
Decent little filter. 10 micron rated. I did discover one small issue unsure if it was only my unit or not I was able to remedy it.Fuel flow is down center tube as reservoir fills up it then passes through pleated filter element supposedly squeezing out water I haven't witnessed water collection yet to confirm. My issue was if you blow into the directional ports as follows the input passage vents to filtered passage. So in theory with my default bleeder screw unfiltered fuel could pass from bleeder channel directly to filtered channel.I was able to correct this by removing stock bleeder or vent bolt and replacing it with a longer vent bolt.If anyone would like to test their flow you can blow into the channels and attempt to plug up center input channel from below you will note the air then bleeds into filtered channel bypassing filter with stock bolts. Unless mine came with a shorter bolt in error. TBD.

A perfect fit.
I have an old Racor 120 that needed cleaned up, but also needed a new spin on filter. Was just going to buy a replacement filter, but also wanted to replace the bowl and was put off by the $50+ price of a Parker. Got this for about a third of the cost, looks and fits just like the original and am happy with my purchase. I will watch for leaks but think sometimes over-tightening might be the cause. So far, so good.

Good so far
I have had this on my Kubota bx1880 for a month now, I am very happy so far. Quality seem good, relatively easy to install had to drill to holes in my frame.

easy to buy replcement filters
I bought this for my parents Kubota BX2350. The fuel system has water in it and kept freezing up in the winter. I found this unit easy to mount and as the second picture shows it fits under the hood perfectly .

Poor assembly quality!!
The replacement filter section was so tight on the mounting bracket it had to be put in a vice to unscrew it in order to fill the filter and bowl with fresh diesel fuel to eliminate air going into the engine. I should have returned it without trying to unscrew it, but the process damaged the filter metal body beyond possible use. The manufacturer refused to claim responsibility for even shipping it, denying I purchased it through Amazon. I will have to seek compensaation directly through Amazon, and cannot recommend this product!!!

It leaked when installed
It leaked when installed, given the volatility of gasoline it was useless. I contacted Amazon and let them know that I was reluctant to ship it back by mail due to the fact it had contained gasoline and would be dangerous to ship. Good on Amazon for realizing this problem and refunding my money without requiring me to ship it back. I would not recommend this product.

Filter is overtightened
The first one was so tight I couldnt get the filter to come loose. I sent back and ordered another one and same thing. These are not great unless there is a trick to getting the filter to come apart??? They are supposed to be hand tight. Even using a filter wrench wouldnt get it to loosen. Sent both back and went with another brand.

Compact unit
Unit is quite small and filter is easy to change, product appears to be of good quality using on my diesel boat engine to replace old CAV system in conjunction with a new electric fuel pump.

I would recommend.
Worked as advertised. Installed on my boat between my under floor tank and my etec outboard. I was having issues with water in the tank. This filter allowed me to see when the fuel was contaminated and when it was clean. Easy to install. I would recommend
