These are exactly what I wanted for my first graders! They came as described with the marbled front, blank top half, and primary ruled bottom half. I think it has an extra line or two than the Mead brand primary books. I found them at a rare price of .70 each. I bought 22 and had free shipping, even though it advertised a $5.95 shipping charge. I’m really excited to have these available for my students.

Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for at an amazing price!

I didn't realize only one composition book was ordered for nearly 4x the price. I thought I was receiving seven composition books for $10.50. But instead I only received one. I miss read the description. Office Depot has these for $3 apiece. I am very disappointed.

Purchased these at the B&M. Paper is pretty thin somewhat transparent - lines show through the paper so it's not that crisp for a toddler unless you put a sheet of what paper beind the page you want to write on. I'd try other brands but couldn't find alternatives at the B&M.
