These are my favorite grow lights, use several in my indoor garden.
These are my absolute favorite grow lights. They are the only ones i will buy from now on. I’ve tried other brands and i have to say, these are so far the best I’ve purchased for several reasons. The color temperature is perfect, it’s not too warm even though it has a few red chips. Thats hard to get right and other brands have a pink tint or flat out purple. That pink light may be okay for flowering and fruiting plants but if you have mostly tropical plants, succulents, cacti or foliage plants then they aren’t really going to benefit much from that and might not get what they need. Of course all plants need a full spectrum of light to photosynthesize and thrive, but the blue light is more important for the most part. These lights provide the perfect balance and I’m not just saying that after one week of use, I’ve been using these all year and my plants love them. I noticed a huge difference within the first two weeks in terms of growth, overall health of the plants and my succulents are more colorful. No more stretching or leggy plants. The two heads make it very easy to cover a large area and crane the light where i need it. I have a large plant room / indoor garden with over 200 plants so I need a lot of lights and these are very affordable, effective and cover a large surface area when you utilize the light properly and get the correct distancing from the plants. Note, your plants DO NOT need to be directly up against the lights, you will burn them. They should be about 6 to 8 inches away in most cases, succulents can be a bit closer if they are full sun varieties. I use these lights for succulents, pothos, philodendrons, monsteras, palms, zabrinas, string of things like hearts, turtles, pearls, bananas, and a lot more, just to name a few. All my plants really love these lights and if I forget or skip a few nights then it’s noticeable. These are pretty bright when turned all the way up, sometimes I will run them at half strength if a plant is sensitive and hasn’t been acclimated to the light yet or if I just sprayed them for pests but in general I use them at full power. My lower light plants go more towards the back and the full sun loving varieties take a front row seat. You should build up to the amount of time your plants have under grow lights if you are a beginner so as to not burn your plants that may not be used to it yet. So start with 3 hours, than after a week or two maybe go to 5 or 6, and so on. They have built in timers but I override them with my own plug in timer because I find the presets very inconvenient. For example, the timer options are 4, 9 and 12 hours. Most of the time I need them for 6 hours because my plant room in a south facing room with many large windows so they get ample light for most of the day, I am just supplementing in the evenings. Still, that’s a huge jump from 4 to 9 hours with nothing in between. Not really a big deal and its a person preference but just something I wanted to take note of and I’d like to see more timer options in the future. The clamps are very secure, easy to move around when I need to, ( you can clip them to a table, shelf, plant stand or even a tripod, really anywhere.) and the goose neck style lamps are easy to bend and angle the light exactly where I need it. Over all, these are fantastic! Great value, great product and mine do not get hot. I have several of these running for 6 hours a day most days but they sometimes run 9 or 12 on rainy days, mine personally have not gotten hot, only the plugs get a little warm. Note, I have the 50 watt options, I never purchased the 100 watt, didn't think it was necessary. Sometimes more is not better and it doesn’t have to be as bright as the sun to be effective(unless you are doing seedlings lol) I have a feeling the 100 watt would be too much and burn my plants. You’d be surprised how much these 50 watt lamps put off and I have even placed plants several feet away and they are still benefiting from the light. Very happy with my purchases and I will be buying more in the future when I need them.

Sturdy quality light with very narrow opening clamp.
The 5 options of brightness and the auto timers allow you to select the perfect amount of light for any kind of plant. You can turn on one light bar or the other or both lights at any level. The timer can be set for 4, 6, 8 hours etc. The clamp could be designed better to open wider to allow to attach to a table, the clamp only permits less than an inch opening. The bendy lights are very easy to adjust and stay where you put them as long as the clamp stays attached, the only thing thin enough for me to attach the clamp was a plastic plant pot so the rigidity of the attachment is what determines the lights stay in place. The clamp does clamp firmly but just doesn’t seem to open wide enough to fasten to anything sturdy in my situation. The lights are so bright you aren’t supposed to look directly at them ! and seem to work properly, lots of levels and the device feels sturdy. The first light that was shipped to me was thrown in a bag with the top torn off the original box package, it was a bit dirty and scratched, but that could’ve been a shipping issue. The replacement light was properly packaged.

So great for the price!
Works amazing with my plants and I’ve noticed such a huge difference in their growth and vibrancy! Both individual light arms are very strong and can be bent to any angle you’d like them. Love love love the 8hrs on, 8hrs off feature and I’m sure my plants do too! (Don’t mind some of my plants health, we’re recovering from my busy schedule) Also, the clamp is very strong, I just added some sticky notes under because my desk has a bar the runs underneath, so I couldn’t fit the clip all the way on.

Good product.
I do love these lights because I feel like I’m taking care of my plants this winter however I can’t comment if they are doing anything or not. My plants are staying alive so that’s a plus. I do wish that the lights were a little bit more flexible so that I could use one set of two on two shelves as planned but it didn’t work out that way (I wanted to bend one to the top shelf and one to the one below). Either way, I am satisfied with my purchase. There are different light and brightness settings and there is a timer available which is nice. The clip that goes on the shelf is a little bit bulky and the wires are hard to hide. However, it’s still working ok and I would recommend

My Plants Are Still Alive—So Either This Light Works or I’m a Miracle Worker
I bought this grow light in a moment of optimism, believing I could transform my dim apartment into a lush indoor jungle. Spoiler: I have killed *many* plants before. Like, if there’s an afterlife for ferns, I’m on a watchlist. But this GooingTop light has changed the game—or at least delayed the plant funeral schedule. First off, setup was a breeze. It’s sturdy, looks sleek enough that guests don’t immediately think “science experiment,” and it casts a beautiful, daylight-like glow that makes me feel like I’m living closer to the equator than my overcast reality. My little green squad—basil, pothos, and that one succulent that’s been on life support—are holding steady. Nobody’s thriving like a rainforest documentary yet, but nobody’s dead either, and that’s progress. Now, fair warning: the lights can sag over time. It’s not dramatic, just enough that you’ll glance over one day and realize your plant looks like it’s being gently interrogated by a detective lamp. But a quick adjustment or prop-up fixes it. As for whether it has the *perfect* wavelength and intensity? I couldn’t tell you. I’m not NASA. All I know is my plants look perkier, I feel smugly domestic, and the vibe in my living room has gone from “cave dweller” to “botanical café.” In short: it’s not magic, but it’s close enough for my leafy roommates and me. If your plants have trust issues from past neglect, this light might just restore their faith in you—and that’s something no wavelength chart can measure.

Works wonderful to keep plants growing
Works super well even in the winter keeping my plants growing strong. Super portable with the clamp on it. The lights are on bendable posts so you can adjust them in about any configuration.

Nice lights but make sure the timer fits your needs
The lights provide nice light and are easily adjustable. The goose necks work well. Some reviewers described problems with the clip; I can see how that might be the case, but it's been fine for me. It's well made and a generally recommendable light. My only complaints with this light have to do with the timer and some of its quirks and subtleties. It's designed around a very straightforward use case, but if that use case doesn't exactly fit your needs then there aren't any good options for workarounds. Specifically... As the description says, you get options for 4, 8, and 12 hours. The timing period starts when you turn on the light, lasts for the duration you set, turns off, and remains off until the next day and the same time you turned it on in the first place. It's certainly an easy system, but if you want your light to cycle at, say, 3 AM (for whatever weird reason) then you have to be there at 3 AM to turn it on and start the cycle. Or if you want, say, 10 or 16 hours then you're just plain out of luck. There's no sense of memory or permanence in whatever settings you do set for the timer. So, any disruption of power (moving the plug from one outlet to another, unplugging to temporarily use a single outlet for something else, and, of course, a full power outage) clears your timer settings. To fix any of these situations, you have to restart the timer manually; again, at the exact time of day you want. If someone is watching your home while you're away and the power goes out (or they move the plug) then you'll have to explain to them how to set the timer back up again. But what if you have a common timer (say, for Christmas lights) just lying around, can't you just use that to control the light for more reliability? Well, no. The timer controls all power to the lights and its default mode is for the lights to be off. So even if your common wall timer provides power at the exact time you want, it won't cause the light to come on because the timer will be coming back from an off cycle so the lights will default to off. As I said, it's a generally nice light, but if you can't live with the timer's behaviors then you'll find yourself back on Amazon looking for a replacement.
