I will be using this item in a Spartan race and needed something waterproof. First thing I did was connect it to my phone and submerged it in water. Doesn't play underwater but once I pull it out in a second or two it continues playing and does float as advertised. The sound quality I would say is an 8/10 tad too much bass for me needs more treble but I would definitely purchase again if needed. I will see how it does during my race. Say it plays for a decent amount of time I will need it for about 14 hours. After the race I will update but as of now it's a 5/5 stars

The media could not be loaded. I bought this speaker after looking up and down for something that was waterproof, loud and could stay charged for a long time but also wouldn’t break the bank. This speaker is exactly that and more. It is small and light weight it fits in one hand but also has a string you can carry it with. I will fully charge this and listen to it all day and the battery last for up to 3 days! It is also way louder than I thought it would be I can hear it in any room in my 1bd room apartment. Since buying this product my friends have also bought it because they liked mine so much.

I purchased this Portable Bluetooth speaker for the pool area. I wanted something waterproof in event it gets wet, compact, & it also had to be affordable!! I am very happy to find this gem!! Plus, this baby packs a punch with no sound distortion, easily Sync's to the cellphone with no problem, & its rechargeable!! Now, I do own several other brands of Bluetooth speakers, however I couldn't confirm if any of them were waterproof & I wasn't willing to find out!! So, I did what any reasonable person would do, I purchased another Bluetooth speaker..lol.. that was waterproof !! And, I couldn't be happier !! I'm so happy with the Bluetooth speaker I even purchased its own speaker float!! Now, I enjoy my pool even more with music floating around.. It did get wet from splashing, sat in small puddle of pool water while in its float & still no sound distortion!! Now, I haven't dropped into the pool & I'm not willing to do so either!! So overall if your looking for Waterproof Bluetooth Speakers for outdoor usage without breaking the bank than look no further, this unit!! I am 100% pleased with my purchase !!

I have a Polaris V8 and Anker Soundcore Boost already. Those two bluetooth speakers beat this one on feature and performance. Granted the Anker is a little more expensive than the INSMY C30.Sound quality and volume: The Anker is an easy winner, followed by the Polaris and INSMY. They are all loud enough for a room with some volume to spare. They are also fine outside, but none of them will fill up a backyard with sound for a party. If I had to guess, I'd say the INSMY is a little short of the advertised wattage when you judege the sound quality at the upper range of the volume. The INSMY lacks that quality, full range sound that makes you think it is batting above its league. It is perfectly fine however for general use and for its size, is a good deal above average.Battery life: Too early to tell. It will last for over 5 hours of moderate volume use. Haven't run any test to see how long it will last. Any bluetooth speaker now days should at least do 8 hours. Only time will tell if the battery will remain capable. The battery in the Polaris was fine for the first year and then dropped to 2 hours of normal volume and 2 lower. The good thing was the battery is easily replaceable. I don't see any way of replacing the battery in the INSMY.Construction: THe INSMY is by far the lightest of the three. The first time I picked it up I worried it would have a cheap resonance due to its weight. I don't know how many times it will hold up to being dropped, but I suspect the grill will not fair too well to rugged treatment. The other thing that I don't like is that the back has a, hell, some sort of bass enhancement diaphragm. At first I thought it was a rear bass speaker, but it doesn't seem to be powered. there is just a metal piece suspended on a rubber/byultal diaphragm. Unless this is more durable than it looks, I worry that if I pick up the speaker wrong too many times, I'll put my finger through the diaphragm or pop out the metal piece. This is probably the one feature that will prevent me from buying another one unless over time my concerns prove to be unfounded.Overall, while it is a good value (Prime Day), I don't think I'll buy another one unless I get a similar Prime Day deal. Likely I'd go with another Anker product or try something new.

I can’t say enough about this speaker. I purchased on a whim because I’ve been wanting one for a while but didn’t want to pay a ton (some options get really pricey..). Very pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price tag! Great sound quality for music, audiobooks, and streaming tv. I use this bad boy all the time now! I notice that it skips a little when the battery gets really low, but you can plug it up and it charges quickly. I can get several hours of play from one full charge. I’ve even brought it into the shower on occasion to listen to music and I loved it! Really nice option and quality for the price. Would recommend and would purchase again! Wouldn’t mind having one for the house and one for travel/hiking/outdoor activities.

I had a smaller speaker I was using on my motorcycle (eco pebble) and it did well till i was on the highway. I also have a wonderboom and love it for the pool shower and general use, but the 360 sound design didn't work for me on the motorcycle. Found this one that has 4x the watts that my eco pebble has. Once i found a good spot on my bike i love it. It is compact, able to be removed, full waterproof, floats and does just what i wanted it to do. I thought about getting a motorcycle set and mount them, but could not decide on where to place them. I didn't need my speakes to blast me off my bike loud, but i can hear clearly at any ridi g i will be doing. A plus is it can be removed and taken with me for other activities. Good sound quality.
