I’ve been using this rosin for years- a while before it was rebranded even. My stand partner borrows it, the violist in my quartet borrows it, everyone loves it. It’s not as sticky as the darker one which is why I like it and provides a nice clean sound

This is the first time I have used this rosin and I can honestly tell you that I LOVE it. The grab that I get without having a sticky feeling is outstanding. The rosin just creates enough friction to grab the string but still allow it to glide to make a beautiful, warm note. I believe it is worth every penny. I have spent a lot less money on cheaper rosins but I have been missing out. Sornd the extra few dollars to get a good rosin and it will pay you back in the sound alone.

While it enhances the bow’s grip, I find it to be a bit inconsistent in performance across various playing styles. It might take a few applications to achieve the desired result. However, the compact size is handy for on-the-go use. Overall, a decent rosin with room for improvement.

It worked as described. Initially, I was sceptic, but once I applied it to my bow, the sound changed to a more "loquacious" expression. The sonority increased, and the squeaking disappeared. I was using cheap rosin because "any rosin is good." For a beginner, this is a game changer.
