I did not use these as intended, but split the sides to use as a seat cover on a lift chair in a nursing home. I couldn't find anything to use as a moisture barriers between a pad and the chair's seat, but these work great with a bit of modification. very easy to just wipe off or clean with soap and water.

Great buy, thanks!I took off the cushions and put this Clear Vinyl Chair Protectors cover on with using clear packing tape to secure it underneath nice and snug. (the heavy duty stuff, not scotch tape)Then I re-assembled my chairs. They had a pretty good look, however I only wanted to protect the original fabric from stains and was not crazy about the plastic look on the seat. I then bought slip covers called EZ Covers to put over the plastic. The easy covers are a bit small, so I sowed on 2 ties on each of the 4 sides to secure it underneath the chairs. Now my set up is perfect, if anyone spills on them, I can take off the covers and put them in the washer. The plastic stops the spill from getting to the original material, which will keep my dinette set looking great! I also put a Benson Mills 3463 Clear Plastic Tablecloth on the table which looks great! My table is round with beveled designs through the glass with etching, very beautiful and unique. They're durable and lasted for quite a while.

Although these seat covers are a bit tricky to unfold (since they are plastic, they stick together) they really do the trick. They are oversized so fit perfectly on our formal dining room chairs and our everyday kitchen chairs. They come with ties to wrap around the chair legs, but the ties are plastic and so I find them very difficult to actually tie/not. But the plastic can fold over the sides of the seat cushion so i find I don't need to even tie them.I think it's a bit expensive $13.05 for a package of 2, but well worth protecting furniture you care about. I just bought brand new, very expensive dining room and kitchen chairs, and these will ensure they last a LONG time.Note - I only use these on the chairs my son sits on or whenever company with young children come over. So, I don't know how they hold up for everyday use.I purchased a package for my parents so they can protect their chairs when their grandchildren come to visit!

Would not buy again. Poor design. It is not fitted. Time consuming to fit to the chair seat. Had to make alterations; created a hack to hold firmly to chair. But it also altered the look, no clean clear lines. So, only use them occasionally went painting with the kids🥴

What I like about these chair covers is that they are fairly thick, waterproof plastic and protect the satin brocade upholstery on my dining room chairs, at least for awhile. What I do not like is that the plastic ties are hard to tie securely and rip easily, making the covers so loose they slide and fall off.

I used these seat covers in the dining room. We have an elderly cat who tends to throw up on our cloth seats. These covers fit just right and are not too bulky. They are barely noticeable. I really like this product.

I was originally concerned about a beautiful dinette set I recently purchased because the chairs are a very pale blue. I really want the chairs to keep that "new look" so these covers are perfect for protecting the seats of the chairs. When I was a child, I remember my mother had protected our furniture with the plastic furniture covers which kept everything nice but were uncomfortable and obvious. These covers are an update on the covers she had but they are lightweight but sturdy so they are comfortable. Not so obvious since only the seats of the chairs are covered. My sister saw my new dinette set and she ordered her a new set and also ordered the protectors. I am very pleased with them and would recommend the covers to anyone who would like to keep their chairs clean without spending hundreds on scotch guarding them.
