Perfect Staple Food for My Mid-Sized Tropical Fish!
This Tetra granule food is excellent! My mid-water tropical fish (like my larger Tetras and Angelfish) absolutely devour the slow-sinking granules. I've noticed a real improvement in their color vibrancy since switching. Best of all, the water stays crystal clear, which is a huge plus for tank maintenance. The "ProCare" formula with vitamin C seems effective – my fish appear healthier and more active. It's a nutritionally balanced staple that I confidently feed daily, knowing it supports their immune system and vitality. Highly recommended for larger tropical species! A truly reliable and quality food.

Good food for fish
My fish love these more than flakes. They can be a bit picky on food.

Lasts like a year
I have a 46 gallon with 2 discus and these last the whole year! My fish love them and so do my other tropical fish who skim off the bottom to eat some. My bottom dwellers will also eat the leftovers as well as my female betta eats a lot of them, so they love them. This is my go-to food for my discus and I only use about 1/4 of a tablespoon for my entire tank which lasts a long time and is great for the price. Of course, I mix with bloodworms every week but this is the staple.

Note that they are gradual and sink.
They are gradual and I missed it. I use to use flakes. So far the fish like it. But will see if it increase the period between cleaning because once they fall to the ground the fish don’t seem to be eating those.

Best staple food for fish.
I tend to buy a lot of fish food for my fish. I have 15 tanks with plecos (8 species), corydoras (9 species), Electric Blue Acaras, rainbowfish (Praecox, Bosemani, Trifasciata), Tetras (rummynose, neon, glowlight, ember), kuhlis, guppies, etc.I heard this from LRB Aquatics YouTube channel. It's mentioned in almost every video so it got me curious and I ordered one to try for myself. Every fish I have went nuts for it. My previous staple food was Hikari Micro Wafers but all my fish took to this food immediately. I've even seen my tetras spawn in my hard water after a couple of months of feeding them this (I tried with frozen foods with no luck). Same happened with my corydoras but they need frozen bloodworms for higher fry survival rates.I bought a coffee bean burr grinder just to grind this down for my smaller fish and fry. I fill a few small 4oz cups with lids so I do this every few months. The ingredients had me a little concerned but the results have been truly amazing. After a month, all my fish's colors are more vibrant. I've seen more spawning activity with fish that normally wouldn't spawn in hard water, mostly my tetras. I would not hesitate recommending this food for anyone. There were a few less than stellar reviews. I have some thoughts. For those that have fish that spit it out, try crushing it in your fingers over the tank so there's smaller pieces. Some fish have small gullet openings so they spit it out. If they ignore it, it's because they're used to their old food and should take to this after a few feedings. I never had this problem with any of my fish but I have seen some fish take time to realize different foods as food.I sound like a Tetra spokesperson but I'm not, just an extremely satisfied customer.

High Quality
I bought these for a 20 gallon community fish tank I'm still cycling. I've been using some of it to help cycle the tank (no fish yet). When I first opened the seal it had that fresh fish food smell, so I can only imagine how good it must smell to the fish. This is taking forever to break down in my cycling tank, I'm talking weeks. Part of the reason might be that this is high protein, which you absolutely 100% want for ALL of your fish (yes, even Malawi Cichlids).High protein food is not only good for the fish, it helps keep the water clean by not contributing too much of a carb source for bad bacteria, so your good bacteria can stay on top of things, if that makes sense. So when they label this "clear" or "clean" water, it's a double whammy and it really is the real deal.
