The Mountain fresh freeze dried strawberries taste very good, true strawberry flavor. They are not, however, like other freeze dried strawberries I have bought here. They are more like dried strawberries than freeze dried. They do cost less than most other brands of freeze dried strawberries but they are not as dried.As a dried fruit they are excellent, but they fall a bit short as a freeze dried fruit. They are not as dried. They are not crisp like most, virtually all, freeze dried fruit I have had. It is a matter of personal preference. The freeze dried last longer, if you can keep them dry. Both work well in baked goods, cereals, and as a snack.As a dried fruit I would rate this 5 stars. The reason for my 4 star rating is that they are more like a dried fruit than a freeze dried.

They aren't something I could buy every week, but as a treat I would buy again. They were nice and crisp, good flavor. Strawberries are one of the few fruits I can eat, so it's nice to find these! They were slightly more expensive than the local co-op, but they were much crisper, and surprisingly, have stayed crisp in the bag for the 2-3 weeks since I first opened them. Unfortunately, the ones I can buy locally are either not as fresh or maybe they are a variety that doesn't crisp up as much? The local ones get fairly soft soon after I open the container. I use them in lemon-strawberry tea after that point, which is still nice, but these have stayed nice as a dessert or snack. Very nice treat! Thanks!

This was the perfect healthy snack for me

Placed my order on August 5th, received it 3 days later on the 8th. I've bought this brand a few times in the past, good quality, good flavor. After opening the package this time, I unsealed them, and they looked different, I didn't think anything of it, as I've tried multiple freeze dried bananas and have seen many with differing appearances. The taste however, was much more noticeably different. It did not taste fresh, I barely if at all taste anything remotely 'banana'. After inspecting the back, the best by date is July 28th 2022.I normally don't go by the best by date, especially for dried foods as I always assume they last longer than posted but in this case, it certainly did not. Which is disappointing as this is my favorite brand on Amazon, but I don't think I'll be buying again as I don't want to risk getting this much lower quality product instead of its usual high quality standard.

My son loves freeze dried bananas! It's hard to find a product that is plentiful(truly bulk due to the freeze drying) AND so good! I was a little hesitant with the packaging as it's just a resealable bag, but I am very pleased because the bananas in the bag were the biggest pieces that were intact and perfectly freeze dried. I've had other products that had so much powder left over it was a waste as it wasn't "pieces" that I wanted. My son, and I LOVE these pieces. They are sweet and delicious!Overall...the best freeze dried bananas.

Moist, delicious, great snack for on the road, camping, or office. The bag was full with the advertised amount of product.

The texture is a bit rubbery, tho the taste is ok.
