JBL rocks!
You can never go wrong purchasing a JBL product ..I have had a similar speaker for over 10 yrs and my daughter, who is 34 always wanted one, sooooo that was one of her Christmas gifts. The sound quality is amazing, with a good battery life. JBL has been around for decades you can always count on a quality product!!

Not American time!
Box claims 12 hrs play time.. unless there is a trick... or a different understanding of 12 hrs... this speaker, at best is only 5-5.5 hrs of play time! Other than that, it’s an okay speaker. Not great, definitely not the worse I’ve used/heard.

I need no more, no less
This is indeed just perfect for my needs. Great - and fairly loud if I wish it - sound from a reasonably sized speaker. This is the final achievement that I always dreamed of. I no longer own nor need a stereo system with bulky and cabled stereo speakers to be amplified. My cell, Bluetooth and these is all I need...! :)

Not bad
Bought the Charge 5 or 6 but wow that was a heavy 2lb. This look small but the sound bang. Perfect weight to stick in a backpack, can't wait for Snowboard season as this is going to replace my old Moto Deck.
