Move to 2.35:1 screen has been awesome...
After purchasing a new projector that allowed me to memorize zoom and focus, etc, for different aspect ratios, I decided to move from a 106" 16 by 9 retractable screen to this 125" 2.35:1 screen. I can now zoom most movies out to fill the height and width of the screen (no black bars) since most of the time we watch movies in our home theater. We don't watch cable/TV at all in this room. All I can say is... WOW!!! The immersion factor when watching epic movies on this scale has been incredible. I could never go back. The only downside is that normal 16 by 9 movies no longer fill the screen on each side. But we can mask that if needed. The screen came in a reasonably small box about four feet long and was well packed... no damage at all. The frame is twice as long and has to be assembled with basic tools. I found this to be very intuitive overall and took about 90 minutes because I wanted to be very careful with sharp edges around the screen material. The screen itself is held on with heavy duty Velcro around the entire edge on the back side and does a great job of holding the material tight and wrinkle free. Overall, it was pretty easy to assemble, although the instructions were obviously designed to be used with different size screens (e.g. the 125" had two upright support bars in the frame, not one as shown in the instructions.)The screen is intended to hang directly on a wall and I'm sure the brackets supplied would have been fine. I ended up mounting mine in front of black curtains so I needed to fabricate some 9" braces to make the screen 'float' in front of the folds of the curtains. Overall, more work than expected but the result is fabulous. This screen is perhaps more money than some alternatives out there, especially for a fixed frame, but you can certainly pay a lot more as well. I thought it was a good combination of value and performance for an screen that has no black edge on it.

Beautiful screen, assembly is a pain
First of all, get the screen. Don’t let my complaining about the assembly detail you. I’m not handy, so it might be me.Screen looks bright and immediately made my old projector look better than ever. I was still waiting for my new one to arrive, but enjoyed the screen even with the old projector. Once the new projector arrived, it was marvelous! I was concerned the 1.3 reflectivity might produce a hot spot, but my picture is well-balanced with even lighting.I believe any fixed screen is going to be an installation nightmare. I got the 165” version, and it has 58 little springs to attach around the frame. The tool provided to grab the springs has a “handle” that is essentially a key ring, and the thin metal ring kept unwinding from the tension produced from pulling against it.Some sections of the screen overlapped the frame farther than others, which wasn’t the end of the world until it came time to attach the trim. The tension rods in some areas covered the screw holes for the trim, complicating installation. And if you think you’re going to want to remove all the springs, adjust the stretch, etc., you’re delusional. So, I’ll admit that a couple new holes were drilled that night, and if you climb a ladder, you might find tape holding the top corner of the trim pieces together, since the screw holding one piece popped out after it was on the wall. (It had been a tight fit getting it in, but it popped out later, and I was just not going there again.)But that one night of raw-hands pain-in-my-a** I’m-never-getting-another-one-of-these-again consternation aside, I love my screen. I’ll get over the installation with further counseling.

Save money and time by staying away from this screen
I bought this screen few months ago. My basement project took longer than I thought and finally my contractor opened it to assemble right before 30 day return period and we found out that this is already a used/returned product as there are hand written 'OK' s on the parts. My contractor tried to put this together with the instructions provided but the screen is too small to strech around the frame. Somehow we managed to strech but on the corners the metal frame is still showing up. Then we tried to put the frame around and the wholes are not aligning properly as the screen edge was coming in the way (bad design). I rquested a return. As this is sold by thrid party they would not pay for return shipping. We have to pay out of pocket and go through AtoZ claim with Amazon. Also noticed they have a 20-50% restocking fee. Since it is a faulty product they should not charge any restocking fee but again we have to go through Amazon A2Z claim to fight that. So after paying my contractor $400 to try it out, I would endup taking that loss even if I get a full refund! I would say spend a bit more and get a motorized dropdown screen to save all the time and frustration.

Exactly what I wanted
Purchased this screen after trying a low cost one. First of all, the screen and the accessories are well packed and didn’t even have a scratch which is unusual for a big item shipped from Amazon. The screen is rolled in a cardboard tube and a disposable cloth is included which can also be used as a protector to lay on the floor during assembly. The package included all the items needed for assembling the screen. One mistake I made is that after assembling the corner springs I started clipping the springs from one side, that pulled the screen by few centimeters to one side, I had to undo few springs and pull the screen to the center of the frame again. Only complaint is the instructions were not clear on the center support, I installed it reverse and had to unscrew and change it. Once installed the screen doesn’t have even a single fold.Overall the quality of the screen exceeded my expectations.
