Quality throther
Simple , shick and functionalFor weeks , I struggled with making high quality lattes at home. Then I saw that my main issue was my built in throther on the expresso maker that I purchased. Instead of returning the entire machine, I wondered what else I could do.I saw this product advertised and it was a simple answer to my prayer. With its help, I was able to make a high quality latte with Almond milk and regular dairy. I love it!!! I do have to warm the milk seperately but the throth is thick and creamy and it lasts even as the latte is finished.I love this product and am finally able to make use of a defective expresso maker.

Works great!
I wish there weren’t any plastic components but, aside from that, it’s easy to use and makes great foam. (I used oat milk)

Inexpensive, works well, made well!
This product works perfectly for my needs. I pair it in my morning ritual with a Bialetti Moka Express (3 cup version) to make the perfect cup of cappuccino or latte. This size is ideal for 1-3 cups of latte, but it froths so easily, you can buy this and easily make 4 cups in two separate rounds of frothing.I fill it about 1/4th of the way with whole milk and I have a nice froth in 10 pumps of the handle. I prefer less froth (more latte style than cappuccino style) so if you did 20-30 times, which would take you all of about 10 seconds, you'd have very frothy milk. A see a lot of reviews saying they couldn't get it to froth, but seems those reviewers were using something besides whole milk, so I can't vouch for anything other than what latte is supposed to have in it, whole cow's milk :)Cleans up easily as well.Note to those asking about heating your milk in this container on the stove --- It is not ideally suited to do that because the stainless steel is too thin to handle very much heat without scorching the milk at the bottom... HOWEVER.... I have a workaround if you want to heat and froth in the same container. While my Moka Express is heating on the stove top burner I place the frother next to the burner to slowly heat at the same time. I will occasionally place it on the burner next to the espresso maker, but always moving it on the heat source and for never more than 15 seconds at a time. I can tell when the milk has heated sufficiently when the outside of the frother is warm (not hot) to the touch, unless you prefer your milk much warmer. That's my two cents, hope this helps. BTW - I paid full price for this product so you can trust my opinion, even if you disagree :)

GREAT GIZMO! Fabulous froth!
I received a Nespresso machine as a gift and I was looking for a milk frother so I could make lattes and cappuccinos. This gizmo is just what I was looking for. It is simple to use and makes sturdy long-lasting foam easily. I was contemplating buying an electric frother, but didn’t want yet another small appliance. My kitchen is small and countertop space is at a premium. This is attractive, well made and doesn’t take up much space at all, about the size of a small teapot. I heat the milk briefly in the microwave in the glass that I will be using for my espresso, and then pour it into the frother. After about 15 pumps it is ready. With the Nespresso and this frother, my latte or cappuccino is ready in about 25 seconds! I don’t find it at all noisy: it is not necessary to bang the plunger up and down completely to make good foam. Highly recommend! Terrific value!

works for the money
the best manual frother is the Bodum glass one, but It doesn't matter how careful you are, every two years (or sooner), the carafe will break. It is thin glass and me (and all of my friends) have bought dozens over the years...ridiciulous. And the replacement carafes are more than a new set (OY). So I officially broke up with Bodum, and went on the hunt for a stainless steel Frother that could compare in quality froth. So to Amazon and read maybe 50 reviews and seemed the Bellemain Stainless Steel Hand Pump Milk Frother was the most purchased. So...how does it work? Not as well or as easily as the Bodum. The Bodum is perfect as you can heat the milk in the glass carafe and then froth it. So with the Bellemain, I just grabbed a creamer and put in 2/3 cup of Macedemia/Almond/Cashew Milk (Trader Joes) and microwave (I like my milk HOT). Non-dairy milks froth perfectly (incidentally...anyone who thinks you need fat in dairy milk is wrong...you just need the right steamer or manual frother...use whatever milk you want). So as previous reviewers said, when you pour the hot milk in the Bellman Frother, the entire contraception gets hot. So I just grabbed a paper towel and started plunging away. Too much milk, it was creeping up the sides, so I had to pour a little back into the creamer, and I plunged half of it...it frothed fairly well...was a little disappointed it didn't get as "high." as the Bodum, but poured half into my clear glass coffee cup (double walled), and read the instructions that said to let it sit for a while to get thicker. Frothed the other half...poured in my espress/coffee to the first "batch" and then by that time I poured the second "batch" on top to get a lovely caramel bottom and a really nice creamy froth for the top...that looked lovely in my glass coffee cup. Let it sit a bit...and voila...it thickened, tasted great and was very creamy. Maybe more so than the Bodum, which puts more air into the Froth (some would call this foam). So using the Bellemain sounds like a more steps, and it was but too much. . I don't play when I want my coffee. And I threw it all in the sink and rinses out very easily (far better than the Bodum). But the entire thing can go in the dishwasher. If someone would have made stainless steel carafe Frother taller...and thinner like the Bodum. and made a three part screen part of the plunger (like the Bodum)...that would be the perfect manual Frother. Or simply make the Bodum glass thicker like the French Press Carafes. So for $14.95, buy this one, take a few extra steps and my guess is this one will last for years...maybe during that time someone will listen to how a great manual Frother needs to work. (p.s. I have bought a battery operated stick, and don't waste your money if you want Froth).

Durable
I like that this milk frother is stainless steel. It works very well to produce a thick and yummy treat for my morning coffee. I purchased this milk frother to replace a glass one that I accidentally knocked over and broke. The only thing that I don't like is that the top has to be removed in order to pour the milk froth into the coffee. The glass frother had a spout so I could pour the froth into my coffee without removing the lid.
