Just what I was looking to find
This is the heavy duty twine I've been looking for. The kind that can easily tie up big bundles of tree branches and yard waste without breaking. I had bought another ball of hemp twine from Amazon that looked good, but turned out to be very thin stuff and was only a small ball - strong, but I had to double it for every purpose. This stuff is between 2mm and 3mm thick of strong twisted fibers and it's about a five pound ball. It's not finely finished ... this is baling twine. Very hard to find this stuff in stores. The last time I could find such a huge ball of such thick stuff was in 2004 at a farmer's supply store in Des Moines. But Des Moines is 1300 miles from me now, and there aren't all that many farmer's supply stores nearby.I have to say, though, the stuff is a little smelly. Smells of chemicals - probably fungicides to prevent rot. This is not stuff you would normally use indoors, though, anyway. I'm keeping it in the garage.

This stuff is tough and works
Strong stuff. We use this to tie up yard trimmings. It successfully tires anything we can lift. The price is fair and the quality consistent

perfect for gardening
I use this mostly for tying up tomato plants. It's reasonably cheap, easy to use and a spool lasts a long time

Sisal thickness is significantly variable, thus the strength is exceedingly variable. But the price is great.
The Sisal twine's thickness is VERY VERY inconsistent. And when it is exceptionally thin, it breaks. For my purposes, it is fine. I just use it to pack up boxes, so, I am very happy with it, but all six previous bales, by other manufacturers, are much more consistent, and similarly priced. But, I was shopping locally, for those other six. On Line, this was the only option that I could detect, and, it does the job I am asking it to do.

Great yard twine
Not really too far into the ball, but so far, is seems to be very good. Uniform and strong. Prior ball was highly variable in diameter and loaded with "slubs" -- wads of "un-spun" sisal. It has an odor, but ....so what; I not eating it.

Really strong twine
I use this to bundle tree limbs and other materials for trash pick-up primarily. Very strong material, you can pretty much use it for everything. I am a repeat buyer of this product.

Does the job.
Strong, good size and good price. As others stated, has an odor to it BUT no big deal for binder twine. Much better than cheap stuff coming from elsewhere (you know).
