Gypsy Quilter Sensational Sip & Snip Clamp

Somebody really had their thinking cap on with this product! Where do I start?! The fact that this little gem clamps firmly to the table is fabulous. The cup holder is sturdy and amply sized to hold even the largest coffee or beverage mug off to the side and out of the way yet still handy. The nylon scrap bag is also a great size and thread/fabric scraps don't stick when you go to empty it out. If you just want your drink handy and don't need the scrap bag, it easily detaches!

As we scrambled to set up our home offices, my husband was jealous of my Gypsy Quilter Sensational Sip & Snip Clamp I had purchased years ago to keep my scrapbooking projects safe. I was using mine in my work at home office so I ordered him one for his desk. Just one of those little things that made life comfortable during the pandemic. We did take off the little trash bag because his work area is tight and it stuck out too much, but the little bag is cute and it is made to come off if that is your preference.

I don’t understand why it came in white while all the posted pictures are a black cage. I like it to match my setup. I guess there’s always spray paint. It does seem to be big enough and fulfills it’s purpose.

After a spill and a ruined keyboard, I bought this ...attached easily to my computer desk and holds my 40 ounce stainless steel tumbler with no problem. I’m going to ge a couple more for my crafting table to hold pens and tools which always seem to get lost under stuff or roll off onto the floor.

I purchased this item in April, unfortunate for me I didn't open the box until late May (more than Amazon 30 days return policy). The basket did not fit into the holes of the cupholder, so the product is unless to me at this point. I notified the manufacturer and was informed that their entire shipment was defective in this way and they were waiting on another shipment. I waited another 30 days and was told that they would have another shipment in in late August. I needed this item for several summer projects. So far it's a useless piece of metal. I requested a refund and was denied. Good luck!

Hate the color, Item itself is ok, Does the job. It is a lot bigger than I thought....Would hold a big gulp cup.

A friend of mine had this at a quilt retreat and it was love at first sight. I always have a glass of tea or water near me when I quilt and am constantly worrying that I'll spill it. This solved the problem. It easily attached to my sewing table. When I'm doing a lot of cutting, I move it to that table too. It's easy to screw and unscrew. I don't have the complaints of other viewers about the scrap bag. It works just fine for me. If they were redesigning this, the one thing I would add is a pincushion. Then it would have everything I need right by my machine, but even without that, it was well worth the price.

This is an ok drink holder, works well, stays on table well. My complaint is like another reviewer noted...the scrap bag is VERY crooked. I mean it is welded on ridiculously unevenly. So, while functional, it looks very crooked and is noticeably "off". I also have the scrap ma bob and it is not crooked, and I was able to purchase a separate organizer and scrap holder that comes in a nicer pattern than this crooked one and does not have the GIANT logo on the front for the "Sensational Sip and Snip". Given the choice I would NOT purchase this, I would go for the other which seems to be better made and is cheaper. For the cost of this one, I was able to get the Scrap-Ma-Bob AND the Scrap-Ma-Bob caddy, which is very cool.

Highly recommend it. Of course I just took my bottle out to have a drink but works with lots of size cups and bottles etc.

Was not at all what I expected. Sticks out way too far and I couldn’t work around it. Kept hotting it.
