Ryan McGinley: Way Far

Not my favorite McGinley book but its a nice coffee table book - that is if you like naked hipsters in nature.

Master Piece

This doesn't really live up to his earlier work for me. I think this series felt rather forced and maybe rushed in the creation. It doesn't feel nearly as intimate as Ryan's early work. I have been a big fan of Ryan since early in his career, but I feel like maybe it's time to move on. Some of the images are really amazing, but as a whole the book feels a little off.Also, the quality of the book is not great. Cheaply made (although it is a good price). The binding on my copy is already falling apart and the cover is very cheap and easily bruised. The glueing on the cover is already separating and I just got it today. Not a quality product in my opinion.This book feels like it was just put out there to make some people some cash while Ryan's name is still hot. Probably going to return it or sell it.

Beautiful book. Couldn't have more love for McGinley's work. Well worth the price.

At once austere, sumptuous, and vivacious.

Ryan McGinley is just a big hype in my opinion. He is quite talented, but not to the degree of what those crazy critics made him out to be. He has become a poster child of artistic failure, creating art driven by capitalism and greed. He neglects his passion and who he is and what he should be doing. He allows himself to be a victim of those sponsors and backers.This book is nothing spectacular. There are some romantic and nostalgic images, but the rest is a big blob of question marks...

Gorgeous collection of works from one of my all-time favourite artists! If you're a fan of McGinley's, you will fall in love with his work all over again; and if you are trying something new - you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful book, such a delight to flick through. It is without doubt Ryan's best book yet. The way he captures the naked form is without doubt one of the most mesmerising things I have ever seen. Truly beautiful art. Congratulations Mr Mcginley. From an avid Ryan fan

Libro meraviglioso. Per chi ama Ryan McGinley, questo artbook è davvero imperdibile. L'autore ti conduce in un viaggio indimenticabile nel suo paradiso terrestre fatto di corpi efebici, nudità impudiche e una natura in tripudio. Consigliatissimo
