Fine look and strong protection
This hiplok really looks cool and the fact you can carry it on your waist is great. It’s sturdy and it’s size is just right for locking your bike in virtually every rail around the city.After a couple of months using it, still looking neat and sturdy.The cable is a plus and it’s worth it’s price.

Bit pointless
I have two other strong locks/chains but bought this as evidence for insurance compliance. It is a waste of money and time because in spite of the heavy sale of registering the lock/keys, their website is in a continual state of ‘under maintenance’. Probably means you can’t replace keys as they advertise with the product. Of course I can’t register the lock either. Advise don’t buy until you get assurance their web registering service works. If I had bought one of their really expensive locks I would be even more unhappy. The lock is fine so far but obvious frustration with the service and no warning with purchase.

Good lock for the price with added cable.
This lock does come with the 2m cable. Don't go by the negative reviews below.Mine was directly from Amazon and not from a 3rd party seller maybe this is why with the negative comments have come from.This is the best price for the lock at just over £62 pounds £79.99 from the manufacturer. The lock is not to heavy to perfect for a backpack or on your belt.The cable does smell abit but just needs the air to get to it for it to go. Does seem to be thinner to some other cables that are out on the market but for a bonus its fine.The d-lock does rattle abit when you pull onit, but again most do. Overall seems well made product from Hiplok.

if you own an expensive bicycle this lock is probably your best bet to keep it safe in a large rural area.
