I keep this in our chest freezer. Since it’s located in our garage, the air temperature can vary widely depending on the season. This really helps to know what the temperature is inside the freezer. Plus, it hangs on one of the wire racks to help protect it, so this works perfectly.

Easy to read. A little slow to get to temp. It's a few minutes behind the stove getting to temp.

use as a manual read for my smoker as the digital that comes with them usually are off. This is spot on and high quality as you would expect from Rubbermaid.

I was curious about my oven temperature if it was accurate or not. I purchased this and found out my oven was off 30° I was shocked. I use this to get my oven and large toaster oven up to the correct temperature before I put the food in. Big difference!

I compared it with another one and it was inaccurate. Many readings were inaccurate readings evey single time. This brand is well trusted but my device was either defective from the manufacturer or it got defective through the shipping process 🤔
