Homebrite Solar 30854 Changing Color Exterior Lighting, Rabbit

I bought this for my dad's garden and the frog does not always light up when it gets dark. I am not sure if it is an issue with the solar panel or the light sensor. The light change for the frog is very slow - so much so that my mom did not realize it changed colors at first. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as we didn't want a flashing item in the garden at night. The look of the frog is cute and the light panel size is not a distraction. My only complaint is that it is not as reliable as I had hoped.

The instructions for placing this item leave a little to be desired. It isn't very clear how to place it. The stakes are so short that if you don't have very hard clay soil I can't imagine it will stay standing very long. We plan on trying to bury it about halfway up the support rod.

Very cute...light is very bright. Mine is glowing green, need to figure out what to do to make the colors change. If it was working properly I would have given it a higher score.

The solar panel is mounted on the side of the frog's body but is is too large for the frog body and detracts from the overall appearance.

The first rabbit I received was broken. After waiting about a week for customer service to respond, they sent me out a replacement free of charge, but the second is also broken. The actual rabbit is pretty, and I like the stand it comes with, but the material is apparently a bit too fragile for postal ordering.
