Which leads to their "Obsession."As in his previous two novels, Alex Ironrod explores and brings depth of character to his protagonists, a rare thing in kinky books. Tarquin and Paul must seek the trail in what becomes an increasingly dangerous game as Rufus, a British actor set to star in a US television series, begins to work his overt and covert manipulations on the relationship. Along with the help (or meddling) of The Circle of Six, Paul and Tarquin have their boots full.What Master Alex continues to do is make his characters smart and kinky, with dungeon filled with tools but a life outside the kink. All three of his books are terrific examples of just how good leatherotica can be, and his short story collections ([...] and  The Ironrod Chronicles II ) are also excellent reads.

Could hardly put it down, but had to read it with one hand! Have read all the trilogy now and would love the film version!
