8-12 Cup Basket Coffee Filters (Natural Unbleached, 200)

Finally, an unbleached filter that fits my 12 cup Black & Decker coffee pot! Maybe I was missing something but the last 2 packages I got of coffee filters, that stated were for 12 cup size, only came up halfway in the filter basket so I could only make 6 cups at a time ( I premake my cold coffee for 3 days at a time). These go almost the whole way up and I’m making 10 cups now (just to be careful and not get that runny overflow).UPDATE: the last pic shows how far up the coffee went, using enough for 10 cups. I probably won’t push it and make 12 but that’s ok! It’s better than 6 and will save me from having to me it so often.

This was such a good buy. Now I don't have to worry about forgetting to pick up coffee papers at the store. They are durable, fits my coffeemaker and does the job.

I’ve been ordering these coffee filters for years. I like that they are unbleached, are a more natural material. They are strong enough to also use in my compost bucket under my sink. I also like that I can buy them in quantity so I’m not always having to reorder them often.

Pro: These fit fine in my Mr. Coffee 8 to 12 cup coffee basket. They hold 6 tablespoons of coffee grounds easily without tearing and make a strong, full strength brew of 8 to 9 cups for me. It works well without leaking or overflowing and I use the used grounds as a soil amendment for flowers and plants that like it.Con: If you use more than 6 tablespoons, they will tear when lifted out of the basket. It is strong enough to handle 12 cups of hot water brewing through it. What weakens the paper, is the weight of the grounds that you use. I've found that using more than 6 Tbs. of ground coffee will likely cause the paper to tear. Since I enjoy deep coffee flavor and strength, I use 6 heaping Tbs. for up to 9 cups of water. Enjoy!

I am so glad I bought these. I am tired of getting grounds in my coffee from the small ones you get from the store. These fit perfectly in my Mr. Coffee coffee maker. They are deep enough that no grounds get into my coffee.
