I buy this occasionally as a Jello substitute and I really love the lychee flavor. I can't tell that it's any different texturally than agar-based gel desserts, but the jelling is a bit less firm than traditional jello that I ate as a child.

I got this from a halal supermarket.My family and I did not like it at all. It uses carrageenan as the gelling agent and it gives it a very grainy texture.I didn't finish any of it and threw out the other packs I bought.Aside from the texture, carrageenan has been found in studies to be a carcinogen.Unfortunately since carrageenan is vegetarian and inexpensive it has replaced a lot of better halal gelatine products that usedbe sold in my area.I would stay away from this product.

I love the taste I wish they came in a bigger box.
