The book lives up to expectations. It is very informative & has lots of pictures so you can see what each town looks like. It also tells you how long the journey from one town to another takes & if it is worth staying the night or better to just spend a few hours there & move on to the next place.

Wish I'd found this book earlier, rather than a week before travelling. Full of photos and history for each town along the Romantic road, including tips. Small maps on inside cover, no driving directions. Hopefully brown tourist signs obvious. And thin enough to pack, 4-5mm.

This compact little book has information and photos on every town along the Romantic Road. The paper is quality glossy, the book doesn't weigh much and the front and back page w/ flaps has a map. There is no dining or lodging information only info on cities and sights, but still would recommend.
