Perfect for someone like me who likes having bed covers, but also needs tool space! This thing swings right out and perfectly clears the bed cover to fully open lid and gain access to your tools, straps, etc. Installation wasn’t very difficult. Took about an hour.

It constructed very, well, very strong, right? Easy to install quality products?

First I want to say thankyou to HpIII. I have a Nissan Titan, so was prepared in encountering a little difficulty in drilling the holes in my truck. The self tapping screws don't work for my truck. I used a step drill bit, instead, just to get the holes started. Otherwise, I am very pleased with my driver and passenger side Swing case! I was a little worried about security, because I have a Tonneau cover, but Under Cover even thought about that! You can secure the swing cases with your own supplied padlock! They work just like pictured and can access your tools, without having to get up in your truck and doesn't take away from valuable bed space. If ever, you do need to remove them. They come off in a jiffy!

This is a great idea and it does work well. The install was easy for the most part. One problem on the 16 titan is the lower 2 mounting holes require you to drill through an extra plate and the self tapping screws did not like that and the head snapped off well before they seated. I had to cut the bolts off and drill new holes that were not in the double plated area. Would recommend for future installs get a tap and tap the 2 bottom holes to avoid this issue. My other issue is with Amazon. They gave me the option of a like new at a discounted price. In my mind like new is the item is undamaged but the box and packaging may have been opened. This was not the case. The lower hole that the box swings on was damaged and I had to reshape it to get it to work. My guess this is why it was returned and instead of sending it back to the MFG as damaged Amazon just sold it without stating the issue. Luckily I could make it work but still annoying that Amazon is not up front about the condition of the items

I've had one box installed in the bed of my truck 2014 Frontier for a few months now. I use it for recovery gear that gets muddy / nasty and camping tools along with some small handtools. With it full of about 40 pounds of tools it does sag and rub on bed when you swing it out, however it seems to be ok with that. I like the semi secure water tight storage ( Its abs plastic if someone wants in they will get into it..) It also allows me to haul dirtbikes and such without losing bed space of my already short bed truck. Also noticed one of the contractors I recently worked with had them in his truck and seemed to look like they were holding up decently for tool storage for him. Will be getting a box for the passenger side shortly!

The quality and design of this tool box are good, it's a solid item. Install was simple and straight forward, and the instructions were clear. It works great, swings very smoothly and the latch works exactly as it should. My complaint is that it is not compatible with my bed cover. I bought this tool box specifically because the description says it is compatible with all bed covers. It most definitely is not. When mounted 1.5" off the bed floor, as the instructions say, it is much too close to the top of the bed wall (of my 2016 Nissan Frontier) for the latches of the bed cover to work. Even when mounted lower, just enough off the floor to swing freely, there is not enough room for the latch to operate. Since almost every soft trifold cover has the same latching system, that means I can't even get a new cover that will work with the toolbox. I'm not sure what I'm going to do now. If I keep the box I can't use the cover, but if I return the box I'm left with the 6 holes drilled in the wall of my truck bed for this box. Overall it's a decent toolbox, but I'm disappointed with the purchase.

Very sturdy, water proof, and lockable . Fairly easy install, with minor drilling. I use these for my overlanding rig, and store compressor, ropes, tools, etc. I have a shell, so I can't comment on the longevity in the sun, or how good the locks are to theft. The hinges are sturdy, and the locking mechanisms and latches work well. I like that these can be easily removed if needed, tho I haven't needed to remove them. So far I'm digging these

I just wanted something to store my tie downs, ratchet straps, jumper cables, etc. in. This works perfectly, installation was a breeze. I don't think I'd use it to haul heavy tools in, the thickness of the plastic is a little underwhelming and I'd be afraid it would crack/break. But for light cargo I don't think you can go wrong.

Recently installed the SwingCase in the bed of my new Nissan Frontier Pro 4x. It's one of the most coolest truck add ons I've come across. Holds up to 75 lbs of tools which would otherwise be taking up room in the cab. The lid is lockable and the tool box even has a theft preventative feature for a padlock. The box can be removed from it's hinged bracket if required and is made from tough ABS. It looks great and blends in well with the black bed. Installation was as simple as measuring to fit the bracket and drilling in the 1/4" metal screws for the bracket and striker. It's compatible with many tonneau covers including my BakFlip F1. Also found this to be the best price on the web for Canadian customers.

Great value for the money and the case is well made and solid. It fits perfectly underneath my tonneau cover. Lots of room inside and it provides a convenient storage location for my tie down straps and some tools. **use caution if you are tapping into a solid steel support in the truck bed - the self tapping screws can overheat easily and break. (I broke two when they overheated and seized) Consider pre-drilling the holes in this situation. The screws easily penetrated the thinner sheet metal however.***

Very slick, works like you’d want it too. Fairly solid mounted and easy to use.

This met my needs perfectly and took minutes to install. I would buy again.
