PatrolEyes HD 1080P Infrared Night Vision Police Body Camera Security IR Cam + 480 Res Button Camera Kit

The camera is easy to use in the field. Just press the record button and your good to go. You don't have to power it on first. The IR button is easy to find, and so is the laser pointer. I did have it "freeze" up on me but a press of the reset button took care of it.(the battery was low when that happened) I did find that the unit didn't stay charged very long when it's in the stand by mode. I would suggest it be powered down when not in use. I don't know if the battery can be changed out.The recording files can be copied to a PC without any additional software. They play in a mp4 format. I have an older laptop that needed an update to get it to work. The device is a little heaver then I expected, but the clip seems strong enough to hold it to clothing. The sound and video quality looks and sounds good when played back on a PC. It's a little hard to see and hear when played back on the device itself because of the small screen and speaker.The IR really shows things well in the dark. I am really pleased with it's performance in low light. Overall I would recommend this unit to law enforcement. I have not had it very long so I can't comment on it's durability.

Came 2 days late, recorded a 5 second video and when i went to play it back, it froze on me. And it is still currently frozen

I brought this body camera for my husband to wear at work, being a law officer isn't easy or safe. This camera picks up audio, work get in the dark with night vision. He just clips on his shirt before his shift, before getting out of the car on any stop, he presses the button to start recording. He downloads the videos etc onto his computer and if their is ever a problem all he has to do is open the file on the computer.

I had a lot of issues with the camera, but StuntCams was very helpful in resolving the problem. Ultimately, i went with this model instead, and i am in love with it. Sent it back it's too big and bulky. Extremely heavy and looks like you have a flashlight with the night vision

This Patrol Eyes Camera works better than I expected. It has a perfect picture without any flutter. If I must purchase another Body Cam it will be another Patrol Eyes.

Superb product. Have used in snow, rain, night....excellent. Easy user interface. Great to watch video on the unit, all L.E. should consider this product.
