USMLE Step 3 Made Ridiculously Simple

Not crazy about it. I think it's TOO simplified. It assumes you have all the background knowledge already. I find myself having to look up information from external sources often. It would be nice if it had more review points, definitions, etc. Probably best used in last few weeks before exam as a last minute review/outline. Author clearly wants you to buy his other publications and suggests doing so in the foreword. Contains somewhat tasteless and tacky illustrations. Some pages have very little info on them which could be used to print more information. It's clear to me now that I'll be shopping for more review material. In no way whatsoever does the information contained in this book justify the price. At best it's worth about ten bucks. Copyright is from 2005 and 2012. Well, has it been updated in the past decade? Do I have to wonder if it's up to date? I'd rather not wonder. I don't need more anxiety on top of an already stressful time. Really, a cartoon of a thin person in front of a mirror saying something like "I'm too fat" to illustrate anorexia? C'mon man. It's 2021. How about some information instead of a picture drawn by someone that was clearly the cheapest one you could find? Mmmmkay. Bye bye.
