Awesome. It stopped people from the habit of helping themselves to my food in my minifridge. I never caught the culprit red handed but this solved the issue anyways. Now I can sleep at night knowing my snacks are safe and sound lol. I did have to glue one of them back on using gorilla glue because of accidentally trying to open the door while it was locked but other than that it is still good as new! So if you want a more secure lock, I recommend using a stronger glue with this.

Our garage fridge, we keep all the Popsicles in there for the summer. However, I've got a child who would always sneak in there and take popsicles. No wonder I would find popsicle wrappers and sticks everywhere.Before anyone judges that I should be watching my child. She's seven. I cannot keep an eye on her every single second of the day. You turn away for 60 seconds To take clothes out of the dryer. That's all it takes for her to grab a popsicle.You can tell them no. That they need to ask first before taking or that they can have it later. But do they ever listen? No.Not to mention, the garage freezer is where I like to keep my snacks. The one that I don't want her touching. Mommy snacks. So, it's great that I have this on the freezer now so she won't keep taking all the Popsicles and if she wants one, she has to ask.AND NOW ALL MY SNACK CAKES AND POWDERED DONUTS ARE SAFE FROM LITTLE GRUBBY CHILD HANDS!She still has access to the fridge for her snacks. She still has access to the kitchen fridge and freezer for things.But now I know she won't be going through 100 popsicles in a week because she's a sneaky little devil.

I wish there were options to flip how it's set up, we use on the fridge but due to the handle location the combo part has to go on the side and is upside down.

My cat has figured out how to open the freezer door. He thwarted a different freezer lock I put on, but this one did the trick.

The media could not be loaded. These are absolutely useless! We've just realized that if you press the button and jiggle the lock it will come out, no matter what the combination. We have four of them and they all do this. We've been trying to figure out how our son was figuring out the combinations and devouring goodies, but no he was just jiggling the lock. Do not buy!

We purchased an outdoor freezer recently but it didn’t have a lock. My mother in law was concerned that someone might sneak into our backyard and steal or contaminate what was in the freezer (I wasn’t worried). As a good son in law, I searched and found this solution. It’s easy to setup, easy to use (yes, even by my mother in law), and has prevented any breaking into our freezer since being installed. I think she just wanted to prevent me from getting into the ice cream more than anything else. Anyhow, the lock works great and my mother in law is happy. If you’re looking for a lock like this one, this works great! Mother in law approved!

This fridge lock works as intended but it's plastic so don't expect it to be bullet proof. Ours lasted about 3 months until a family member, that knows the combination but didn't realize it was locked, pulled the fridge door open and the cable snapped off the base. It worked well enough so I ordered another one. Removing the broken base off the fridge was not easy because the adhesive is super strong. With some Goo-Be-Gone and dental floss we were able to remove the base, but most of the sticky residue remained. After attacking the gluey mess with more Goo-Be-Gone and a plastic credit card, we were able to wipe the mess clean. We scrubbed the mounting surface of the fridge with alcohol and we were able to install a new base. So far it's holding strong. This product works well, but keep in mind that if someone really wants to get in there, all they have to do is pull the door open with force and the lock will break rather easily. I would pay a little more if the base was metal instead of plastic.
