After years of testing different pomades, clays, etc, this one is my favorite. I get near instant hold that sets up FAST and lasts all day. I have literally tried dozens of hair products and this is my favorite. The smell could be better, but it's not entirely unpleasant. I love that it's quick to hold and it's beeswax based. It seems to be off the market now. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!

Originally bought this while visiting the UK and now can’t do without it. Great texture, doesn’t clump and works well if spritzed with water. Do not leave to dry out or it’s harder to use.

My husband’s review: Hold is sensitive to temperature, as in this product fails to hold much value in - cold and dry - as well as - hot and humid - weather, rendering it useless for my needs at least given my locale. Not to discredit this to those who luckily live in more stable and moderate temp environments, but for me I had to give it away after only a few attempts to put it to work for my everyday needs.

I only gave it 3 stars bc it smells soooo bad! It works great and we kept it for back up in case we ran out of other brands. It smells like plastic and it linger. And it's strong so strong I can smell it while I'm in the passenger seat and my husband (who has cologne on) is in the driver seat. Would not recommend!

I LOVE this Matte Paste - NOT waxy, very lightweight, and GREAT hold - and I sweat TONS on stage - Great, great product!! *Though I did find a better price direct from UK on the "bay". Happy to have found this as the Wildcat was getting scarce. Cheers!

It gives me a solid hold without a mess. It's firm and malleable when I take off my hat. Even with the product in my hair, I feel like it's natural. I don't feel like I need to take a shower before I go to bed. Even more expensive products from my local big box feel like I have school glue or paste in my hair. The salon's product I was using, an expensive clay, was just ok. It was extremely pricy, came in a glass tub, and broke when I was traveling. I thought of using this for travel and the glass for home, but I'm sticking with Johnny's. It's better.

Smelled bad, but I was still willing to give it a try, so I applied it anyway. It held well and had a decent texture, but the smell was overpowering and I had a headache and became nauseated by constantly having to smell it. Needless to say, I washed it out and threw it away

I usually have my hair cut place style my hair any way they choose after I get it cut, and I noticed that they usually went with a pomade/paste. I decided to give it a go and I have been happy with this product. it holds well and if I am out working throughout the night and need to get back at it in a quick turn around, I can just add some water and its good to go again. Only thing that I noticed is that in a heavy rain it can quickly wash out and it kind of burns if it gets in your eye.

Hard to source product through normal retail outlets, just a small bit goes a long way provides great hold but an all natural look.

great product. Just enough hold without being too strong. the tin lasts ages and as a bonus is great for keeping little things in after the paste is all used up (which takes ages). Another bonus is that its aroma is very gentle. Sont feel like i have been dragged backwards through a perfume store

Produkte ist super aber nicht mehr bezahlbar. Habe im letzten Jahr für 2.99 welche gekauft und jetzt Kosten sie 10 Euro was stimmt mit euch nicht . Werde es sicher jetzt nicht mehr kaufen.

Bin total begeistert, ist sein Geld wert, super halt der Haare und lässt sich gut rauswaschen. Werd‘s wieder kaufen

I got this wax for my birthday and was amazed at how well it holds my hair without making it look greasy or sticky. It wears off after a few hours but it's still a great product, which is the third time I've reordered it
