Harbor Freight Apache 5800 Grey Padded dividers & lid Foam.

You really can’t beat the Apache 5800 for a money conscience method to store and transport sensitive gear like cameras and lenses. Only downside is that damn pluck foam. I hate that that stuff. This padded insert kit fixes that issue in a snap. While a bit on the pricey side consider the cost of the Apache 5800 hard case they go in, they do an excellent job of segregating your photo gear into individual padded compartments for a secure and safe ride. Installation is easy. Simply open the package, insert the 2 end foam plates to stiffen the outer ‘box’, place into the case, and arrange the padded inserts to suit your needs. Put into the gear, have a beer. The materials used are of good quality and should last for a long time. Each padded wall has about 1/2” of high density foam covered by fuzzy material that grabs and holds the Velcro hook tabs on the adjacent panels, making a very secure enclosure. Once in place, short of opening the case and turning it upside down (not recommended 😵‍💫) your gear is as safe as in Ft. Knox! I have several 5800’s and many have this padded insert kit inside. Highly recommended.

The Harbor Freight Apache 5800 Grey Padded Divider Set was a great addition to my 5800 case. It helped me organize a number of different items neatly and securely, making the case much more functional.The padded dividers fit well, are easy to adjust, and offer solid protection for gear of various shapes and sizes. I’m already planning to get another set for a second 5800 case I have.

I feel like it should’ve come with more of the Velcro attachments for the inside, you can really only configure it one way like on the picture. Other than that, works just fine. A little pricy, but it works.

This thing works for all your fragile items. No different than the higher end boxes, so save some $$ and love this item

This product fits terribly, do not purchase this replacement filler. Fits wrong, terrible quality and waste of money. Is this a joke of a product?
